This is it. The one song that carried the .exe Community for nearly an entire year. The one song that has had several variations made, by the fans, for the fans. A concept that led on to becoming one of, if not the most anticipated thing that the modding community has ever seen. All the waiting has paid off, and we finally have... the definitive Final Escape.

With all the terrible shit and stuff going wrong in my life and probably others, to be a fan of a creation like this, to finally see it completed (mostly). Thank you, Nick, MarStarBro, & Saster. You know, at first I really thought this didn't do Final Escape justice, but no that I've been listening to it for like. Two hours straight. I think I finally get it. This really is the ultimate send off to VS Sonic.exe as a whole. It's been really hard to say goodbye to this entire project, but I think this has helped a lot. 2:11 Honestly, I feel this part gets slept on so much. This little section never fails to remind me of Myuu music, and that’s why I love it so much because of how much Myuu’s music brings back so many memories of me listening to the classic creepypastas and horror stories. This little nostalgia-bomb was so unexpected, and it nearly blew me out of my seat the first time I heard it. Bravo, composers, bravo.

Having seen the process this song went through to get finished, I’m so happy to see you guys finally pull through on this monster of a track. You guys did an incredible job on this, and I hope you can rest easy now knowing that this is behind you.

Cool idea I had: 1:50 BF getting chased in Angel Island Zone, after the jumpscare everything is on fire like in act 2 2:09 Xenophanes pounces ahead, hitting the button Knuckles uses to drop you into Hydrocity in S3&K, which causes BF to fall into Hydrocity 2:46 the fans in Hydrocity activate and push BF towards Xenophanes, who pulls BF up into Marble Garden Zone 2:55 Xenophanes yeets BF into Carnival Night Zone 3:03 BF frees himself and escapes to Ice Cap 3:18 a few seconds before this BF uses the teleporter Knuckles uses in act 1 of his playthrough, which leads him to Hidden Palace Zone where the chaos energy transforms him into Super BF 3:23 Super BF and Xenophanes battle in the Doomsday Zone with the Death Egg in the background, which is damaged and resembles Soul Eggman's face

I love the part at 2:48 it just has such a nice swing to it that makes it so enjoyable, and xenophanes’ laughter just makes it so much better. great job to everyone that worked on this

Holy fucking shit this is fire It's been.. a year since I first heard the initial melody of Final Escape. Finally hearing the full, finished track feels like a fever dream. I've listened to a couple of remixes, but NONE have beaten out this. Also, the song's denouement from 4:02 onwards was definitive perfection, Jesus christ. Brilliant fuckin' work. Wishing you guys the best of luck.

this might be the final fnf-related thing i'll check in on for a while and GOD DAMN is it such a great note to end on. it did such an outstanding job being an improvement to the fan-finished/incomplete (whatever it's better denominated) version to the point it barely resembles it in the slightest; everything from the improved vocals and instrumentals to the addition of entirely new sections really captures the feeling the song is going for - a final escape to end everything the mod is about once and for all. all three of you plus everyone else who contributed towards this did an amazing job and i am glad of how the finalized project turned out after all the almost-whole-year of work that had been put into this

FINALLY. A FINAL ESCAPE THAT'S WORTHY OF THE NAME. From that classic beginning, to the memories and Sonic.exe "toying with his prey" bits, to the end result of turning super and escaping from the cartridge and this never-ending nightmare and cycle. The way it evolved over time all to end in a grand finale with that iconic "tune feeling" that all great "Final Boss" songs have in FNF. Magnificent! Truly magnificent! Hope you guys can rest easy knowing that you work on this track is finally complete. Rest well! You all deserve it! :D

I'd never gotten a chance to watch the official video until now, and let me tell you, 3:00 was exactly how I imagined. Xeno just finding the fact that he finally has Boyfriend in his clutches so invigorating that it's funny is perfectly in character for someone like him. Thank you Nick, MarStarBro, Saster, all of those on the exe team. Y'all are awesome.

This group can't possibly make a bad song. Themselves alone make straight bangers no matter the circumstance. The instrumentals are incredible. The transitions are a nice and unexpected change. The voice lines are dope. Even one line can change the tone of a song. This has got to be the best version of this song, and there's many good ones. All and all, amazing work on this masterpiece. Everyone should be proud for making this incredible work of art. I wish everyone the best of luck for their next songs to come.

Fun Fact: the official FNF creators said that even if Sonic.EXE could trap BF and GF the 2 would just murder him and leave if he said there was no MCDonalds so here in Final Escape storywise it could be implied that Xenophanes actually did manage to win in Triple Trouble and was about to keep BF and GF trap forever as lost souls in his realm but he accidently made the off-hand remark of the fact there was no McDonalds so BF and GF "killed" him and started to leave GF leaving first but BF is about to leave when a slight glitch happends keeping BF in the game....cue the start of this song

When I saw 2:56 I had an idea. What if there were 2 endings to this song?? Like the Wednesday infidelity good/bad ending. My idea (it's probably ass lmao): You know how in triple trouble there's the ring notes right? What if they were in final escape and to get the good ending you need 50 or over 50 rings to go super and get the good ending. If you don't get 50 then you get a bad ending where bf gets caught. Definitely gonna get flamed for this trash idea just had a thought of it lol

Definitely got some "Discharge" vibes toward the end, especially in the BF vocals and with a similar idea of breaking out of something he's trapped in. Super cool!

i don’t think i can even properly write a thoughtful heartfelt comment from how stunned from shock i am. i’m actually in tears from happiness. not only is the song like a 5-star meal for my ears (especially the piano part and the part at the very end, i’m actually crying as i type this) but the visuals, even if a lot of them are rough-ish sketches, they’re INSANE!!!! it’s all INSANELY well made, and it feels like a finale and send-off to the mod itself. incredible work to everyone who worked on this.

HOLY SHIT. NOW THIS IS A FINALE. Honestly, after hearing this, I was slightly disappointed. It didn't sound like the other remixes at all. But then I realized, the reason it doesn't sound like the others is because of the others are same melody the entire time, and we have grown accustomed to it. This one changes things, because they only released a teaser. Realizing this, the second time I listened, it was the best thing I've ever heard. Great job, Mar, Saster, and Nickolas! 6 months was worth it. Also, I feel this is the good ending, where at the end of TT, if you collect 50 rings, and keep them by the part where BF turns super, Xeno gets pissed off in a whole new form, and chases super BF, With the ghosts of Fox, Knick knacks, and Eggdick cheering BF on. The literal adrenaline rush I got when I saw the notification of this followed by me going through all my dms of my friends to tell them that "THE REAL TOO FAR IS ACTUALLY HERE" and then proceed to scream about it for the rest of the night is unmatched in all my two years of being in this fandom. Godspeed y'all are amazing.

Sure, the things Sonic.exe started in this community weren't so great, but first Manual Blast, then YCR Encore, and now this. The mod would've been something much greater if it was actually finished. I love how the song starts out just as expected before BF falls into a pool of darkness and is greeted by flashbacks calling back to two of his best friends, Girlfriend and Pico. And after that is a swing tempo time signature change that displays Sonic.exe completely overpowering BF, if the previous moment didn't already display a true loss of hope. When it feels like all hope is truly lost, BF gains a super form and has one last duet with the sadistic demon. All of this combined along with an excellent key change blend together into what could've been an excellent story mode sendoff song, and the final product, had the contents of this gift not been unwrapped so early, could've been something much more, even if the mod would've technically came out as an OC mod by the time it released due to them deciding to add so many EXE OCs

What happens after this you all may be asking? Here's what I think. Bf, out of breath, after what feels like a 4-5 hour long endurance test, turns off the console and PC entirely, and reflects on everything that just happened. The friends he's made, the enemies he's met, the kings he's overthrown and souls he's saved. And he feels awesome, as well as tuckered out, so, before bf passes out, he takes the cd or whatever it is, opens a window, and tosses that shit out, hoping to never see it again, but his gut tells him he may see that hedgehog again someday. So, he goes back to the room, where gf is waiting for him...and they just start laughing. Happily laughing at the failure of that "overly EDGEY HEDGEY, and his bombastic plans" Meanwhile, sonic.exe is now stuck in a void of his own creation, stewing in anger and hate for the one soul who "got away" EDIT: fixed a grammatical error

...Holy crap, I am not kidding when I say this is legitimately one of the best FNF songs ever made. I've heard tons and tons of amazing fanmade versions of Final Escape, but this blows every single one of them out of the water!! Almost all of them keep to the same style and don't mix it up much, but you guys managed to keep it fresh throughout the whole 5 minutes of this song! All three of you are some of the best composers I know, and this collab between all of you came out just as amazing as I would expect. The massive amount of effort that was put into it really shows! You all completely outdid yourselves on this, words can't truly describe how incredible this song is!!

Honestly, what a great sendoff. This feels like a boss fight to be honest, with all the different phases. Xeno doesn’t seem like some edgy spooky demon, but rather a menacing foe, and the true puppet master. Now I’m not an expert on EXE’s, but that’s what Xeno should be.

I absolutely fucking love how Xeno's handled in this official version of Final Escape, he spends most of the song serious and tired of BF's shit and then 2:48 hits and he seems to regain some of the sadistic playfulness he bore during Too Slow, and finally BF goes super and the change in tone is epic. It is in essence Xeno saying there's no more games to be had, he won't tolerate your shit any longer. You will die here and now, Xeno will make certain that fact is the absolute truth at the end of this game.
