Assalamu Aleykum wa rahmatullah. Allah bless you for speaking up, ameen. One thing I have realised is that irrespective of how or why this is occurring ( government plots, punishment from Allah, etc.. ) Allah is the best of planners, the All Seeing, Hearing and All Knowing. This is a time of reflection and action. A time to brighten the light in our hearts and the opportunity to come together to do this with our families . An opportunity for those of us whose families are caught up with dunya in various ways. Like a patient given a diagnosis of a short time to live. An Awakening. A Blessing from Allah swt. It pains me to say but for the first time in a long time may children and I sat and read quran with it's meaning, TOGETHER. And even sadder to say, it felt very strange at first 😔. But, Alhamdulillah by Allah's mercy we gained so much! May He help us all to draw nearer to Him and grant us the pleasure of seeing Him, ameen. SUBHAN Allahi wa bi Hamdih! Allahu Akbar.

You can brother. Just make sure you havent returned from a journey not long ago. Your entire family should stay home otherwise isolation would not be effective enough. Our family is surely one of the first and strictest here in my nation who started practicing self-isolation (ever since we heard about Iran and the first cases in Germany). We pray together at home.

To all those worried about Mufti Menk: jazakAllahu khairan brothers and sisters. We all love our dear brother :) He released another video yesterday where he is clearly in uplifted spirits (maybe coz outside and breathing the fresh air) and he assures us that he's all fine, alhamdulillah, and the throat is ok too :)
