For those curious there is a way to kill Jason, but it's... complex lol. I only ever saw it watching a stream where everyone (including the one playing Jason) was talking to each other trying to get it done.
Isn't it something like tracking down his cabin (which is randomly spawned on the map), get the sweater, put it on, beat him once to knock his mask off, then you have to have the person WITH the sweater kill him?
Hey, if you are curious, Jason X is technically in the game. He can be found as a secret in the virtual cabin, and he was almost playable. They were working on making him as DLC, and some people managed to get him early through cheats. Then the lawsuit came up, and they were unable to release him.
Theyve been busy. Power hours, livestreams, and twitchcon all this month. Also Dream Daddy update came out so im sure theyve been dealing with that for a little bit in the office. Even though we probably wont get a bunch of "Ghoul Grumps" we got even more content so...
First run as Chad you have to play to his strengths. Some characters are repair people, some are combat, some are stealth. Chad's main advantages are excellent credit, a strong tennis game, and his dad totally knows a guy.
I love how rarely Arin and Dan are on the same page. It’s either Dan: “For the love of god Arin, PLEASE go outside! Arin: “I’m just trying to get a weapon! I wanna be safe DAAAAAN!” Or Dan: “Arin! Don’t go outside! Get a weapon to defend yourself!” Arin: “I’ll be fine DAAAAN! I don’t need no weap- OH GOD!”
@ellajudg345 LDS No need to be sorry, man/girl. Never hurts to ask. A game thrower is someone who intentionally loses, and/o causes others to lose either so their friend can win, or just to be a troll. It's really bad form in gaming. You see it a lot in games like Town of Salem. In fact Markiplier acted as a game thrower in his recording of Town of Salem. A few people even reported him and he probably got a lot of crap for it because he never went back. Hope that helped and have a good day!
If you look into the comments, so many people are upset at how they only did one episode and how they didn't spend time on it so Arin now feels bad and wanted to apologize even though the dumb ass commenters are in the wrong.
@@paultyree Are you fucking kidding me, is that really the goddamn reason? Didn't we already get like... 5 one-offs, and like... 3 or 4 new multi-part series?
Because it's a special thing people look forward to all year, and even though they don't "have" to do anything, this channel exists purely upon Goodwill and just doing the thing that they set up the expectation for and that takes the same amount of work feels like a betrayal or at the very least a slight.
Recklessly I touched a car that didn't belong to me. It was a really nice car. A 1978 Bugatti. THAT'S NOT EVEN A REAL CAR! I made it up. And I FUUUCK DAMN IT!
Synetik i know the counselors were supposed to be based on the kickstarter supports or something, so maybe barry was one? i thought the same thing when i saw him.
1:20 "Hold on I'm gonna go turn off the air" Dan said, as he pressed the "Air off" button and quickly ran off out of the room, closing the door behind, thus suffocating Arin. This was the last recorded episode of Game Grumps history. RIP Arin Harin.
Did Arin mean a week of ghoul grumps as opposed to one day? Honestly I'm happy with Arin and Dan screaming at Jason as a ghoul grumps, honestly I don't think that Arin should be so hard on himself
It's frustrating me so much that these people have upset Arin because of their whining. They have _so much_ Ghoul Grump content they can rewatch during Halloween.....these guys are busy bringing out tons of other stuff for their fans in the meantime. If having only one Ghoul Grumps video this year offends that many people then there's a lot of people who need to get a life and/or a hobby.
Swimming Trunks it’s not arin it’s the intitled people that are hard on them, they don’t care as long as they get videos, they are not lovelies but the absolute opposite of lovelies
@@mistercrow6263 I think it was done purely because they forgot. It wasnt until a random episode in the middle of October that Dan was like "hey we haven't done Ghoul grumps yet".
Sadly, due to a legal battle, Jason X and the Grendel map didn't show up. It's a lot of fun still. NES Jason is in the game, as an alternate skin of Part 3. Counselors win by putting finding the battery, gas, and keys for the cars, or the gas and propeller for the boat, and driving them out of the camp. They can also find the fuse for the phone and call the police, survive for 5 minutes until they arrive, then leaving with them. You can also survive the entire 20 minutes and win that way. The cabin you spent most of the second game in had a radio, which is used to call Tommy Jarvis. Jarvis is both an extra life for one lucky player, and one of four keys to the final victory type, actually killing Jason.
@@Blu3Bomb3r Yes, all you have to do is call Tommy Jarvis, knock off Jason's mask (It takes multiple hits, sharp weapons are the best for this), have a female character go to Jason's shack and get Pamela's Sweater. Once you do this, you must use the sweater on Jason, stun him, and have Tommy press (A - Xbox, X - PS, E - PC) with a machete or an axe.
Yeah, it sucks they stopped making the game. It wasn't because of the lawsuit though, it's just a made up excuse to stop the progression of the game and move on with the money we payed. Victor Miller (The person who sued them) actually wanted to see the game complete and see all of the new stuff they add. I did enjoy the game a ton though, if they wish to lie to all the fans and leave the game, so be it. (Even though it was a dick move...) I enjoyed the game as much as i would for any other game that costed around $40
@@astonchip i think she privated her youtube channel because i even looked everywhere and some people caught on to her cheating in GameGrumps f13th video and were probably giving her shit about her actions in game.
that's really too bad, this is where community servers are nice, like what we used to have a lot of in tf2. where communities can make their own servers and have their own mods and stuff to ensure things go well. i feel like games have completely moved away from that sort of system for multiplayer though
@@chadschmaltz9790 The councillor was blocking other players to help cheat, it's such a poor way of playing the game and it ruins it for other people. It's the same as the campers, sandbaggers and cheaters in DBD too. I've seen fewer cheaters in that (when compared to F13) but they sadly do still exist.
Came here to see what arin had to apologize for and i dont understand it now either. I really enjoyed watching this as i do with most of your videos. Keep up your good work :)
Jason X was going to be in the game, then a huge legal dispute between Sean Cunningham and Victor Miller (the original producer and writer, respectively, of the first Friday movie) ended up roping the game into its proceedings; the devs just dropped development of future content because they didn’t want to be involved in a legal battle. The fact this game exists at all is nothing short of a miracle.
devs are pretty fucky; there was a serious lawsuit around the corner preventing them from making new content but instead of releasing jason X they decided to upgrade the game to a new engine just so they could bolster their resumes after they were done with the game
I kinda get the feeling this might just be an unaired thing from last year. It'd explain why they're talking about it like it just came out, and it's not like they care much about Ghoul Grumps this season.
I think OP means if there was a model of Jason based on the game, and the stalking music stings that played when he appeared near counselors was replaced with the 8-bit tunes...?
To clarify, in this Friday the 13th game, the one they're playing in this video, there are different versions of Jason. One of those versions is modeled after the old school game jason. Look it up for evidence if you'd like. It's pretty rad.
@@chaoticreaper0575 you dont see all the popular utubers doing it? Lol just one example...i do it as well...albiet i at least give them an ability to escape and tell them im doing so on the mic
@@shockblast5402 but the purpose of Jason hearing you speak is an aspect of the hunt he hears you if you're too loud. It's not to help the killer. The killer is supposed to do shit by himself NO MATTER WHAT, any help from other players is cheating.
Danny, Arin, you guys didn't need to apologize for the sake of a few hurtful commenters. You guys are the fucking shit. If people were upset about only one episode of Friday the 13th they could have just said "Yeeeah, this is is awesome, please play this more." You guys rock our fuckin socks off.
One day... one day Arin actually will figure out how to play a game before playing it for the first and only time on Game Grumps lol I just have to keep believing that. Hope is all I have.
For the record, I love watching them freak out and struggle with a game initially, i'd just also like to see them play it when they know what's going on heh This game is perfect for them and we never even got to see them play it while they knew how to do anything.
So they were going to release Uber Jason from Jason X, but due to a lawsuit over the rights to the original Friday the 13th they had to postpone/cancel all future DLC. Also Danny, the were 12 films the last one was the reboot/reimagining from 2009 or so. It was decent you, should check it out. Happy Halloween Grumps!
ahh RIP chances of Jason X, when murder is stopped by the courts. Yea there's a rights battle over f13 franchise so there aren't any more updates(for now), Uber Jason was gunna be added but they can't now. P.S Part 5 is fake Jason, it's actually a paramedic called Roy Burns
@@Zack_Wildfire yeah, same, and so many other additions I was waiting for, like Pamela mode. I mean, there's still a chance the legal issues can be resolved...but doesn't seem like it at this point....
I mean they did genuinely forget this year, and Danny has especially been super busy, so I understand the lack of Ghoul Grumps, I just wish they'd cared more once they realized they forgot (Arin literally didnt seem to give a shit when they realized a couple weeks back)
A pair of friends joined the lobby and the confusing moment where you saw Jason just ignoring someone was his friend teaming with him. It's cheating but it happens. :(
When i play with friends, i try to give them a little more chances but i still end up going after them, there's just a little more messing around as it is funnier to mess around with them than just go straight for the kill
