@@spectreagent Don only did the voiceovers for 1-5. Percy Rodriguez did the voiceovers for 7 and 8. Not sure who did the later ones, but it's not either one of them.
@@Kaijufan360 oh trust me I was in a (kinda) coffin ride where it'll make sounds from the outside of the coffin like your about to be buried alive in the coffin and trust me it feels so odd to be in 1 but if ya dead then maybe it'll not feel odd
I absolutely love the Friday the 13th movies. Every Friday the 13th movies that brought out. personally I think is awesome. They bring back great childhood memories. I currently own the entire Friday the 13th collection. Coincidentally I even own the Friday the 13th complete series.
I am a sucker for slasher films. The cheesier the better, and I'm right there with you on this one. I don't care how many there are and how ridiculous they got. I liked them all. Same with Elm Street. Keep making them, and I'll keep watching them.
Part 6 was the creepiest trailer. I was waiting for him to pop out of the ground. Waiting...ok lighting hits, now he's gonna jump out...ok, he is in that coffin i know it...nope, an empty coffin didn't expect that I expected him to come out and throw his axe at the camera. You wouldn't have known without his trademark breathing that was a Friday movie.
Think am chatting shit... Edward scissor hands is Freddy Krueger but told differently and look at that story to Freddys basically fingers Freddy and gives him a short back and sides too
One of the things that makes these trailers great is how other movies react to this series over the years. There were movies, that were seen in-movie, that acknowledged a long-running horror series with the Friday the 13th aesthetic exists usually to the point of parody. For example, in The Monster Squad (1987) the in-film slasher flick is serial killer sequel called Groundhog Day, Part XII, which is the obvious stand-in for Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part 6 (1986) which would go on to have a Part 7: The New Blood in 1988.
Crazy-but-true-fact: Although it was upsetting to many “Friday the 13th” fans (like me) that lone survivor Alice Hardy was so quickly and easily killed off in the opening of part 2 (as she proved to be quite a resourceful and capable “scream queen” heroine), this decision was actually made on part by the actress who played her (Adrienne King); At the time of part 2’s production she had become the victim of a crazed stalker obsessed with the Alice Hardy character, so she opted to have Hardy killed off and leave the franchise in hopes that the stalker would lose interest and leave her alone.
I'd heard that initially, one of the ideas for part 2 was to have Jason track Alice to a hospital, which would have then been the primary setting for that film but the idea was scrapped; not sure if that decision was made before or after King backed out from starring. Coincidentally, Halloween II was released the same year and *did* take place primarily in a hospital setting (a good, very creepy environment for that flick). Always made me wonder how a Friday the 13th movie would look with such a place being the primary setting. The opening scene of The Final Chapter did a fine job in a hospital setting, but that was just one scene.
Yes, Adrienne spent a good part of her time talking about the stalker issue on a reunion video from August, 2021 posted on RU-vid that I watched recently. Very frightening to know someone is out there in that state of mind!
@@WileECoyoder There’s a theory that the girl you see crying in the arms of what is presumably her mother in that short hospital scene from part 4 is actually lone survivor Chris Higgens from the previous movie.
But that aint probaly happening bc the lawsuit wont end >:( but if it ends there Will probaly be a sequel To the 2009 reboot where Jason wakes up from dead.
The Jason X trailer reminds me of some star wars trailer, that movie really turned Jason into a joke, like Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky Turned Chucky from a voodoo possessed doll, to a doll with a goddamn family. I just wonder why creators of horror movies (especially slasher movies) turn their characters into jokes.
Wow, that part 6 trailer was super creepy, I wonder how the series evolves from here 5 minutes later LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR!!!!!! LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR!!!!!!!!!!!! LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOOOOOOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have just completed my Friday the 13th DVD Collection yesterday. I have the Friday the 13th 8-Movie Collection, Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (Unrated version), Jason X, Freddy vs. Jason and Friday the 13th (2009).
There's another version of the Part VI teaser trailer that does have the title of the movie, just as the coffin opens up. I also think its cool that this teaser for Part VI wound up used for the intro to Part VII.
First vid in a long time guys. Finally able to post long videos again after my youtube strike for posting bloody Godzilla movie trailers, was lifted. Apparently the Japanese didn't like me posting all their Godzilla trailers together in one video. :( But don't matter now! Enjoy the show! And please, if you enjoy the vid, maybe give me a thumbs up and consider a sub.
***** Haha I have to agree somewhat. Thanks for taking time outta your busy schedule Mr Myers! And please feel free to sub as i'm going to be banging up lots of these vids throughout Christmas. :0

lol im wild What could happen is that Pinhead could gather Freddy, Jason, Micheal Myers, Chucky, Leatherface, Ghostface, and a bunch of others and organized them to gather as many souls as they can in order to invade Earth. But then Pinhead double crosses them and so they team up to take on Pinhead and the Cenobites.

#TheJasonVerse is alive and well for us, the fans who grew up with the franchise and "The Ghostly Legend of Crystal Lake" himself. Don't you agree with me?
"Jason Vs. Tina In a Match Made in Hell" I went to see this in theaters, after buying the ticket and snacks I put on a Hockey Mask, walked to my seat. Some kids freaked, some came over. Some Usher came to me and said I have to remove the mask, I am scaring the children. I waited, turned my head to him, then asked him the rating of the movie. He said it was "R". I asked him why children were in here then when it is a movie for older people, even though they can bring children? He shook his head, walked away. 1 minute the so called Manage came over, there was the same exchange. I asked him how he would like it if I called the parent company and let them know they allowed so many children into this movie. He just walked away. LOL
I loved all the Friday the 13th movies but Jason X was the first movie I ever remember just DESPISING. I don't recall ever seeing a single movie before Jason X and saying to myself, "Well that was absolute shit." I'm talking ALL movies in general, not just the Fridays. It was that bad. The second movie that comes to mind was Scary Movie 4, so bad that I got up and left the theatre before it was even over. Hollywood has really lost its edge in the last couple decades.
The director I believe explained it was a way to return the series to the status quo. Let people know there would be a new group of teens and not follow the Jarvis storyline from films 4-6.
