What everyone completely forgets, is that Winston Churchill asked the whole country to have a day of prayer before the Armada of ships leading up to D Day for God’s protection and victory over the enemy.
What the press etc forget to mention the contribution of Russia in the defeat of the Nazis and helping to liberate Europe. It's a shame that the world didn't recognise that yesterday. I don't condone what they are currently doing.
I see where you’re going but D-Day didn’t involve the Russian military, I know a lot about what Russia contributed to the war as my ex wife’s grandfather wax’s colonel in a Russian tank division who sieged Berlin.
@@TrevorCoult_MC Contributed, contributed? You mean Stalin`s sacrificed flesh for the Nazi tanks and fat Berthas, he gathered from each Soviet Republic and sent to die, after he was Hitler`s comrade? The good world asks itself what would have happen if Hitler wouldn`t have attacked UdSSR, letting the red Butcher with no other solution than join the Allies? Or you mean the contribution of the Bolsheviks to the destruction of Estern Europe? 50 years of communism! Countries that Churchill, Roosevelt and De Gaulle gifted to Stalin at Yalta, and several other dictators that the Red Pest had as leaders until Gorbachev came on power. One can see today what the dream of a psychopath can bring over destinies of hundred of generations. And it won`t stop! After Putler comes another psychopath: the Russian blood carries the Testament of Peter the Great from generation to generation in itself, like an inevitable incest. The world, Europe won`t wake up. Until Putler, Stalin`s copy sends a message.
D Day is going to be lost on the next generation if they don’t start telling the full story. That is one thing that should be mandatory in school, it gave us our freedom. But it might just be taken away by the way things are going. Trevor give the Royal Grift a look this am. Good stuff in it. Have a fine day Sir
Totally agree with your comment. It's so sad really, some of the youth of today are just so unaware of the sacrifices made by these brave men and women 😔🏴🇬🇧
Eat your heart out Harry. Look what you gave up , look what you allowed your wife to steal away from you. You were not at the wedding because the Bride and Groom did not want you there. You have become a nothing.
My Grandad was part of the airborne team as a rear gunner in a Lancaster bomber. Unfortunately he was shot down on the 8th of June. It took four days for the craft to be found in a French field. Seeing the attendance of the people that made it home is such an emotional but pride filled moment
Amazing to read. My Grandad flew Lancaster and would of been part of Dambusters, but family stories suggest he fell out with Guy Gibson so was taken off. My Grandad never denied or confirmed it..Lancaster are incredible
That doesn't bode well for his hopes of a place on the speaking circuit in the US after his current job in the UK. Biden will be miffed at his decision to leave early.
Sunak has no ties to any military background. Therefore, he doesn’t understand the importance. Which is a shame for the Prime Minister. Maybe he shouldn’t be Prime Minister
😮 No British flags in London or any DDay posters, My son was there and was so angry. Khan had pride flags everywhere. History is not being taught in school nor at home.
My dads was in the merchant navy and his oil tanker INVERSHANNON was blown up in 1941 on the way from Curacao to Scapa flow in Scotland. My dad was one of the survivors found in a dinghy off the coast of Donegal after a week at sea suffering from exposure. He truly had ptsd from all that he saw but never talked about and suffered in silence. He never received any compensation, medal or even a thank you from the government and never once complained about that. He just got on with life and provided for his family.
That’s so Sad, Your Dad could not confide all that he saw, as it may have helped just chatting about a few bits that he could Mention. Most know it’s a dreadful hurtful Business War. My Thanks To Your Dad the Courage of all his Mates. Veterans whom are Many Thousands Today. ❤❤❤❤❤
Good morning Trevor, Yes, The Duke of |Westminster is getting married today, and poor Hazbeen will not be attending, but Prince William, as an usher. 😄😄😄😄
It REALLY is time to change tactics in our Political view if we believe in DEMOCRACY in The UK. Life in Britain is NOT the same as it was even a decade ago….THINK WELL AND HARD Citizens of UK before you put YOUR mark in the ballot box…..GOD BLESS US. ❤️🇬🇧❤️
Good afternoon Trevor, just a wee correction to your report on The Duke of Westminster’s wedding is actually taking place in Chester Cathedral today not in London, hope it all goes well for them. 💒 The Montecito Morons are obviously deeply resentful about not having been invited, as reflected in the press release about ‘H’ having won his right to appeal - they sat on this story for 2 weeks & somehow decided to release it to the press on the eve of the wedding 🤔🤨, attention seeking pair of immature, narcissistic grifters. TRG did a very interesting video re Lord Justice Bean, the same Judge who let Mrs Harkle off with lying & committing perjury 🤥 in court papers submitted during her court case against the DM!😡
I am in awe of the bravery of those fighters during Operation Neptune and Overlord. I cannot imagine the courage it took to face that terrible enemy. My husband says to the kids all the time: the only time you can be brave is when you are scared half to death. God bless and God speed all those brave souls that fought that mad spreading evil. I pray we have more souls on this earth today that will fight tyranny and evil with that same deep-set resolute bravery.
What I watched of DDay was lovely, sad and remarkable what I also noticed was a sea of mostly white faces, Richi left early to do a recording on TV which will be shown I think on Wednesday, khan did nothing in London not a single union flag but plenty of gay pride flags. I think it is time that the black and brown faces stop trying to make white faces feel guilty for being white. How come DDay gets one day but black history and gay pride gets a month. Even the Irish only get one day and Anzac get one day.
Hi Trevor, just wanted to say thank you for your videos. Also, thank you to all those forces that laid down their lives to take a stand against evil. Many thanks to everyone who help other people. May God bless you all abundantly 🙏
Good morning Trevor, for us that had father’s and other family members in War World 2, thank them for their courage, sacrifice, and bravery, and thank you for your service, have a great weekend 🇺🇸🥰
Hi Trevor, all my husbands family were merchant navy, worked on barges, etc, my husband loved boats of any kind, one time around thirty years ago we bought a wooden boat, and we were told , that it was used in the war, and was one of the boats and barges that went across to pick up all the stranded soldiers in Normandy, we were so proud of having the boat,
On this topic, I was brought up on stories not only of the great triumph of D Day but the drama of Dunkirk, the heroism of even private boat owners who were pressed into service in end of May and early June 1940, and then the horrible Dieppe raid of 1942 when so many Canadians lost their lives and the first American died in WW II.
Yesterday when I picked up my friends 7 year from school, I always ask about school. I ask if his teacher talked about D-Day, his reply no what’s D-Day. They teach no history in school nowadays that is very sad. When I was in grade school we learned about out State history and our town history. Michigan has a big history on its own but ties in to America History, start of America. 🇺🇸
My uncle a very young soldier in the Normandy landings . He was mentioned in dispatches but he didn't tell anyone in the family ,we only found out at his funeral, when those he had served with told us .
Front line soldiering - let’s talk about the British Battalion the fall of Singapore and how they were sold out in WW2 .Being captured ,faced to endure appalling conditions by the Japanese and on release told / advised not to talk about their conditions and capture. Those men not only of the British Battalion - but also soldiers from other countries did not tell of the atrocities- humiliation - the starvation inflicted on them .
I remember father pointing out a gentleman to me saying that the reason he looked like he did was due to him being a POW in Japan. I didn't ask why, found out as a teenager watching The World at War. A series that must be in school cirruculium to keep WW2 history alive. Father was in navy, was involved in some covert operations in Malta & Scicily. I never asked for any further info. Some things are never to be divulged.
God Bless you and your family, Trevor =). My husband was in the Canadian Armed Forces and is a Veteran as well. He has Parkinsons and gets very upset about the state of the world and all that is happening as well. Thank you for your service, and you are right about having to keep the children educated on the proper things, I totally agree. Remembering the sacrifices that have been made for our freedoms is always important.
Hello Trevor & all. My home town had a D Day celebration yesterday & it was a wonderful tribute. They lit the beacons along the prom, there was the singing soldiers & of course the lone bagpipe player. Very emotional & well done to our local authority for arranging it. Have a good day everybody
I thought Khan should have had some Union Jack's flying in London. Being the capital of the UK, i think it is disrespectful to the brave forses he had pride flags everywhere. The Dukeof Westminster got married in Chester Cathredial
I'm glad you are feeling happy with life. It shows you look so much more relaxed. Actually, I've been reflecting on my school years, l'm now in my 70's and l dont remember anything being taught in school about the war. Learnt more about it from the TV programme on Sundays. ' The world at war ' watching it with my parents. Stay safe, and have a great weekend. Have joined Avid Gardner she is so down to earth.
Crackin' rant Trevor, I shall be spending time with my children, it's my 62nd birthday so we are going to play BINGO.. Probably won't win a bean, but time spent with my kids and grandkids is precious to me.. Wish me luck.. lol. Heartiest best wishes to you Speedy, Gwen, Seb, Luba and your family and all the Trevorites & Coultists around the globe, from lil old me in Wales..
My husband's Uncle was there on one of the landing crafts. He was 14! Joined the US Navy. The man next to him was shot away during the landing. He would only talk about it to my Dad who joined up at 18 and went to the Pacific on the USS Oyster Bay 3 yrs later. So proud of the best!
I felt sorry for Joe Boden at the D-Day memorial, when he went to sit down, not sure if you saw it. Very sad, he is obviously suffering from some form of dementia 😔 very sad.
Trevor it breaks my heart to think how many lives were lost. The saddest thing is nobody has learnt a lesson Wars go on and on. Innocent people are killed and how better off are we So sad. 🇬🇧😢
Fantastic rant Trevor 💯👍 The D-Day footage was amazing, all the veterans coming together 😢 I was lol when you said about George Clunie, I had a image of him sitting with his wee ☕ giving Biden what for 😂 Have a wonderful day Trevor stay safe ❤
Excellent representation as usual Trevor. I had seen this on Friday but am late to have commented on it. Thankyou always Trevor for the generosity of the content you kindly provide to us all. Very many profound thanks always indeed. Do take care and all the best Trevor 🙂. From Foxy 🙂.
Trevor I appreciate all you do and have done. I have been a subscriber for along time. I usually don’t comment but lately I have started leaving comments. I hope you have a great weekend. 🌻🌻😍
My dad was born in Ireland came to England aged 9 ,at 18 he enlisted in the British army , went to France was injured but he came back home was lucky many were not . I am proud of my dad , he received 3 medals which my brother has framed with my dads picture. The brave men/boys that fought for our freedom we should never FORGET. Today we are invaded in peace time wtf is that all about . I love your topics of all information thanks Trevor 👏👏👏👏🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hi Trevor. It's a great feeling when you protect your own space and well being. I hope you have a good time this weekend, your son is a lucky lad to have a dad who takes him fishing!!😀
Good morning Trevor. Enjoyed your rant today, as ever. On the back of a very special day yesterday, I salute you for your service. The George Clooney part made me really laugh. Have a great day.
Hello, Trevor, gosh, it's cold here just now, more like October than June, hope it gets warmer soon. Yes, I was watching quite a lot of the events for the D-Day Anniversary, it was interesting and very poignant to see the veterans. I do think it's a shame that not more is done to let the next generation know all about D-Day and how important it was. All these brave men and women who sacrificed so much for our freedom. Thanks for your rant, Trevor, take care now and have a great day. ❤❤
I see the Duke of Westminster had 3 shops I think it was that he’d arranged to give everyone free ice cream and all the flowers from the wedding will be distributed around the city and to hospitals and charities. Nice gesture. Didn’t Harry and Meghan do the same for the people of Windsor? Maybe not. I’d say it didn’t occur to them to even think about the people let alone give them anything.
Hello Trevor & Trevorites. I really enjoyed your informative rant this morning. (I’m late 10:22AM). Since we got rid of Regular Cable ( use Apple TV and subscribe to apps) We have movies and Series relating to WWll . I am glad they taught History including WWll History when I was in school, not to mention good documentaries with . Now especially since watching your channel , I want to rewatch about the events leading up to D Day. Thank you . Have a wonderful weekend with Sebastian. 🎣 Take care and God bless you , family and All. ❤️🇺🇸
I'm 74 and we learnt about the war in junior school , my great nephew was telling me all about Henry the 8th and Elizabeth 1st he went into great pains to tell me about bloody Mary , so they still teach a lot about history ( he is 8 )
I'm 60 and my brother is 71, neither of us were taught anything about the war at school either and he thinks the same as you. Our dad landed on sword beach, but he never really talked about it, my husband and I took my mom and dad to France in 1993 and he said he would like to go to the beaches, he had not been to France since the war, he was very quite and reflective, hard images to remember but we are extremely grateful to everyone of those men.
Hi Trevor, Collins will do very well as an a member of the ulster unionist he has got vision and will do things I know him well. Believe it or not he’s a sound bloke.
It’s a shame our King didn’t tell his Prime Minister we have a Remembrance Day in England UK🇬🇧 as Rishi Sunak SNUBBED it❗️ 1st signs of UK being taken over❓ Any thoughts about it Trevorites? And friends. Nona Knight.
Trevor thank you.! D DAY WAS VERY SPECIAL! However what are your thoughts on John merger and his employed wife ? Is he doing any good at all. He was trashed on tv!
Mate, I hope you are feeling better than you look? every time I watch you on her you seem to get more sad and depressed? really hope thats not the case. Take care mate.
By the time D Day come around, most of the Aussie forces were engaged in the Pacific but there were Aussies participating in D-Day- the RAAF joined in providing air support and the Royal Australian Navy was part of the Armada and providing support off shore….. Lest we forget 🌺. Re: the toxic grifters - it’s about time their decline picked up speed…..
