Hi Adam! I just wanted you to know that RU-vid had unsubscribed me from your channel. I have since resubscribed because I really enjoy your channel. A shout out to Stephanie Farrell Focus for making mention of what RU-vid did. Your dogs are too cute! We own a pure bred Black and White Boston Terrier named Lily. She is small, just 14 pounds. She is older 14 years old, half blind but we love her!! Keep up the good work !!

Well you could have blown me over with a feather! I didn’t see that coming, LOL. I’ll hop on the Juki site and learn all about your new machine - the 2800 USA version that is! That specialty foot is very cool. I have all the feet for the Bernina and Baby Lock overlockers and the only one that comes close is the Bernina compensating foot which has a split foot vertically instead of horizontally like yours. Very interesting! Super happy for you. It sounds wonderful and of course, the jet air threading is awesome. Woo hoo. I wish the Bernina had a needle threader, but they haven’t worked out how to do that on their combo machine like Baby Lock has. Enjoy! On a side note, my two grandsons age 9 and 10 both want to learn how to sew. I didn’t see that coming either. I’ll be spending time with them soon to orient them to the new sewing machine that the older one got for Christmas. It will be so fun to see where they go with this new found skill!

Congratulations Adam, I am a garment sewer and struggled many years with a Brother overlocker. Before retiring I purchased a Janome air threader, Oh what a difference to my life. So play with your new baby and you will be amazed 💜🪻

Great overlocker! The addition of needle threaders is fabulous. I must say, I was expecting some red on the machine since it’s a “tomato”. 😂

How exciting! It’s so quiet for an overlocker. Getting a new machine is always great, I got a new sewing machine at Christmas the new Janome 9480 it has a dual feed as well as a stitch regulator for FMQ and that and 4 feet for FMQ came with it. That and the new Janome M8 are the only machines on the market that have this that aren’t Bernina! My other machine was 12 years old so this is like going from driving a mini metro to a spaceship! 😂 I did look at the juki TL range but there were no stockists near me to try one and the Janome is powerful enough to sew jeans hems without a thought so it should cover my needs.

I really like the idea of the tractor foot. I have a Bernina L890, a combination overlock & coverstitch machine, which I absolutely love, but the coverstitch does produce tiny stitches when encountering thick seams as on sweatshirts, etc. I have resorted to using my trusty humper jumper, but it shouldn't be necessary on such a pricey machine.

Ooh how exciting! I have the MO 2000 QVP overlocker which I love, but the MO 2500 sounds amazing! Have fun using it!

Love your new machine. I have the 2000 serger and it is so quiet and sews beautiful. I do like Juki feet. I also have a 1500 cover stitch and my favorite part is the pressure foot. Most cover stitches have fixed metal feet. This one has a springs in the middle of the foot. It’s perfect for binding as it’s about a centimeter wide. Have fun with your new machine

Enjoy your new machine, I have an old overlocker I bought 2nd hand years ago and the threads are constantly snapping mid sew - I could easily throw the stupid thing out of the window.
