This is SO good! I just stumbled across it as a RU-vid recommendation, but it is a truly great performance. The video might look a bit dated, but these are two wonderful musicians at the top of their game. Guilda is a bit of an eccentric, but he plays superbly. The slow movement is very poignant, and the finale really bouncy and exuberant. I really lilted the way that he and Abbado manage the little exchanges between soloist and orchestra - particularly in the slow movement. I'm not one who goes shouting "best performance ever" at RU-vid videos - but this is pretty darn good!
