"Friend" Hit and Miss Engine Restoration, Part 1 | Iron Wolf Industrial 

Here we begin the restoration of these uncommon Friend Hit and Miss motors. Back in the day, there were thousands of different "Hit and Miss" engine manufacturers. These were simple single-cylinder motors used in all sorts of farm and industrial work. These ones specifically were used for spraying orchards and crops, and were manufactured by the Friend company, in Gasport, New York.
