@@rangv733 Thank you for your warm words :). I had my oh how waited pregnancy a while ago :). Now I would love more, but it is much less hard when you have already a child.
The show first aired in my country when i was 14, in 1995, and it ended in 2004, when i was 23. By that time i already had my laws degree, and it was 5 years degree then. And i'm 37. Really? Early college in 2004? I think you watched a lot of TV.
@@mizusecond well I don't know all of them but: Ross: Dr Andrew Phillips and a few other paleontologists Chandler: Dan, Bob and other people from his old company Joey: Cash Ford from Days Of Our Lives Phoebe: Jasmine, Lowell, Sarah, Mandy and Mary Ellen Jenkins Rachel: Sophie, Melissa and Irene Monica: Will and Hillary. Lot of them were old friends and others new.
Rest in Peace Mathew Perry :( you'll be missed and thank you for giving us joy and laughter. You also gave me inspiration and courage to try an Advertising course as well after watching this episode and now I'm currently in an internship doing my best to provide myself
@@rustcohle3803 Joey was back to working on Days of Our Lives so he has a regular income and don't forget he loaned Monica and Chandler $4000 when Chandler quit his job and they were struggling so its a safe assumption he's doing pretty good money wise
I feel like Chandler should have switched careers a long time ago. The episode he quit his job and then they kept throwing numbers and benefits at him in order for him to come back.
I love this so much! I like seeing Chandler getting credit for something. He tends to choke or get the short end of the stick but here he did a good job and it was recognized. Good for him
that bit where the interns going on about girls making out and no mention of the shoes, perfect point, half the ads you see these days confuse the shit out of me cos they dont sell the product, just seems to be about making a two minute movie.
Poor Moesby. In one day, you work with advertising and you are Chandler Bing's boss. And in the other, you work in a hotel where Ben Geller and his twin brother put you in trouble every single day.
crazy how bob hope lived so long he got to see how he was seen as the most popular comedian in the world for over 30 years from the 1930s till the 60s and got to see how by the time this episode was aired in February of 2003 how forgotten he had become when chandler made that joke about him and the interns didn’t know who he was talking about. kinda sad if you think about it especially when you know how much he loved being famous.
It's their fault to consume all that stuff, not the companies who sell... even at 9'yo i was smart enough to know to eat my veggies and to not be influenced buying Cr@ptastic Food xD.
Unless you have a genuine condition, there shouldn't be a reason to be over weight as a child. I ate a bunch of crap but burned it all off constantly playing with my friends outside.
don't you guy realize dude have the golden voice for radio, ads, podcast and audiobook!!! So sad that he only did the audiobook Douglas Coupland - Microserfs.
I think I’m living my life backwards beacuse when I watched this 15 years ago, no idea who the guy at 4:52 is, me at 30 in 2022”oh my god! That’s the guy from Zack and Cody!”
Things changed . Beginning ross, chandler and monica made the most and there was an episode where the other 3 felt bad and had an issue (a dinner or something). By the end, the other 3 were making more! (maybe ross's status remained same but still lesser than the others assuming phoebe is a famous masuit with many clients i dont kno :P ).
Abhi Abz Yup! And Rachel got the job at Bloomingdales in season 3 and then at Ralph Lauren in season 5, which would explain why she along with Joey are making more money
Only during the period when he was still in Days of Our Lives. Chandler mostly had the biggest income until he resigned and had to start from scratch. But he eventually came back to his usual income status.
This is why you kinda GOTTA keep constant contact with the Internet when you're older, knowing young people - just be carefull of Cringiness and Depression from the other gens - so FYI you 19 yo or pre 30's, when you're over 21 we're all in the same deal anyways, work or laboral wise that is, so drop that attitude a little on older but clearly smart cool people. Also don't be afraid dear jobless - or with job - 30 something, just concentrate on shaking off that weird feeling and taking opportunities
-C'mon people! C'mon now! If I don't know who makes the most, how do I know who I like the most? Hey Joey! Phoebe Buffay. She married a guy who will inherit a triplex in the upper east side.
While I do find this episode hilarious, it kinda makes me sad seeing Chandler struggling with a career change at 34 years old... it would have made more sense if the writers had him keep the job he hates, and at some point he started doing stand up comedy as a hobby and he ended up being famous because of that.
@@elisabethtuuling-askforema1940 yeah it will be kind of similar to joeys and phoebe career entertainment wise, getting an agent or doing shows. Advertising still fits Chandlers character,
No it's not sad! It's actually quite realistic and the fact that we can be happy for him for finally be doing something in his career that he enjoys and being paid for it.
It's so good that Chandler is following his dream job in Advertising. This tells us that there are dream jobs for everyone that makes them happy, you gotta find it and don't stop until get there. Although, I'm a little surprised that he didn't pursue Advertising at the start of the show.
