"Friends of MOCA" Launches at the Geffen Contemporary 

The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA became an interactive workshop of art, technology, and education on the night of October 30th, as Intel and Levi's launched "Friends of MOCA," a collaboration that brings support and awareness to the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles and its education initiatives. As Jeffrey Deitch put it in his welcoming remarks, Friends of MOCA is "combining new art and new technology in a creative collaboration with creative brands."
Partygoers made personalized symbols on Intel-inspired Ultrabooks™, silkscreened tote bags, played with interactive video art pieces, and checked out the limited-edition T-shirts designed by Gael García Bernal, Xu Bing, and Mariko Mori.
