The Ankh is an ancient Egyptian symbol (one of the oldest on the planet). The symbol is a common Egyptian hieroglyph for "life" or "breath of life" and since the Egyptians believed that one's earthly journey was only part of an eternal life the ankh represents both mortal existence and the afterlife. Cool detail.

I heard the news about Matthew Perry passing in his hot tub, something I associate with relaxation, and immediately thought of this scene, as inappropriate as it may seem. This show has been my go-to background/comfort type show for a while now and I've subconsciously remembered many lines, plenty of which, if not the majority, were delivered by Chandler. Truly heartbroken about Matthew's passing, I haven't stopped thinking about it since I learned the news an hour and a half ago. RIP
