Honestly, David is such a respectful guy. He only talked about how HE felt about Jen. Such a gentleman move. He let Jen talk about her feelings for him if she wanted to.
This was a non necessary discussion really because everything about the interview was produced by the six and the questions were known. So how the responses happened were constructed and pre planned. It would have been preferred about the show and the fans and the stories or even featuring Susan and Carol given it was the first televised lesbian wedding.
Seriously. You know I feel so bad when I read about how Brad cheated on Jennifer and how she never managed to find true love throughout her life. And then to see two of my favourites, two extremely honest and genuine people who love each other honestly and deeply not together really hurts me. What they feel for each other is clearly in their eyes.
I would agree. Then again, each was young; and I suspect if each could role play with the other, their future would have been "together." They, each, Rachel and Ross, Jenn and David, had far too much chemistry and humor, not to succeed. However, the "Friends" show could have, more than likely, would have suffered; that is, if Jenn and David in real life, would have had issues. Maybe?
I am I have seen Lisa Kudrow and some other shows before this reunion and she definitely did not look like that in the face. I think she waited all this time before a potential friends reunion to have some work done. You need to Google pictures of Lisa Kudrow recently not during the friends reunion. Just saying, not trying to be smart or anything just trying to bring light to your answer or comment
Agreed! even if I didn't appreciate the couple in the show as much as Monica and Chandler(Courteney and Matthew also have mad chemistry), I can't deny the chemistry. I totally believe they did like each other and channeled that into their characters
The fact that these people have such a lasting and strong bond to each other is pretty amazing. It's pretty clear that they really will be friends for life.
Its a lasting bond from all the shmoney they make. They even get paid royalties when friends is played on tv. U should go to the wb tour of the studio. U'll see all the studio sets.
I love how Ross and Rachel (I mean David and Jennifer) are so open and cool to talking about their feelings that they had for each other back then. So mature of them. ❤️

Yeah David 'joked' that the not to have sex pact was broken, the responsive look Jen gave him was a mix of being nervous and a tad mad. Then she shook it off with nervous laughter haha, they so did even if it was just once
There first kiss that was no acting.. they were totally into it .. that kiss was literally what David thought about when he walked in the cafe set .. I mean I get they didn't want to try then .. but now the show is over and as far as we know they both are single.. if there is still evan a little of that spark still left.. they should totally try dating..
Ok but I think everyone is forgetting that Rachel and Ross’s FIRST KISS EVER was in Season 1, episode 5, “The one with the East German laundry detergent.” Where Rachel stands up to that mean woman at the laundromat and after she felt victorious she kisses Ross.
People who just started watching FRIENDS are so lucky.. They get to see the reunion even before finishing the 10th season...its a complete different feeling for someone who waited for years to see this reunion.
Poor Matthew Perry. He had such intense feelings for Jennifer Aniston too and she told him no when he asked her out. He never gets a break. Hope that his recovery and happiness continue. ❤
Honestly is sweet but sad at the same time. It breaks my heart heart knowing that they couldn’t live a true relationship so they lived it on stage. Every kiss, every hug, EVERY TEAR felt so true, because it was true!! Com’on look at the way they hug each other on stage, how many tv couples have you ever seen hugging that way?
According to the director, Ben Winston, David has mentioned about this secret during a zoom call with him, which he also confirmed with Jen in a separate chat. He then asked David if they are ready to talk about it and said "I don't know, let's see". So for this part, Ben said he just allowed James Corden to ask the question in the interview and see if Jen and David will or will not talk about it. Gladly they did :)

I remember Jennifer said years ago that David was her type and that she was attracted to him. This was when the show just ended. I wasn't surprised about her crush but I didn't know David crushed on her too. Too cute!

Best show ever! Cried because my baby was 2 weeks old when this show started and got me through a very difficult time. All my friends worked and I was home with a colic baby, and they all became my friends making me laugh and feel better for 10 years and three kids later! Thank you for being amazing and still making me cry happy tears 27 years later!
I’m sorry but there is no chance that Jennifer and David would get back together bc David is married and has a child. and if you wat he’d the Reunion they said that they would never hook-up bc they had a great friendship and they didn’t want to ruin it with a realationship if anybody in the group
This isn't a surprise. I feel like this has been known since the beginning? Even the way Jennifer talked about David in that 2003 Oprah interview and then the way David would look at her...always knew something was there. David & Jen had the best chemistry on the show. Just straight fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
David said in the first season they were crushing on each other. I find it very hard to believe it was only in the first season. It was pretty obvious in, at least, seasins 1-3 that he and Rachel liked each other in real life. And it’s possible those real life feelings extended through the whole series but just weren’t as obvious later on.
Look at matt right after when they cut matthew out of the shot. He looks over at matthew and then says "guys" to the film crew as though something is going on with him
If Jennifer and David had acted upon their feelings at the time... I am sure their relationship followed by a beautiful marriage would have lasted forever... David is a real gentleman and would have treasured Jennifer for all his life... My heart aches to think that the screen couple didn't get a wedding ceremony on the show... how beautiful Jenny and David would have looked with the eternal love for each other in their eyes... 💕
Notice when Jen slips up and says the FIRST time we kissed was on the show. They have obviously kissed & hooked up since that first kiss. The chemistry of that first kiss was something else.

I think Brad Pitt never deserved Jen, it must have been some emotional sideway they were insisting on... Anyway, David Schwimmer is a worthy man and a brilliant actor, much worthier than Brad Pitt.

That's not how it works. Besides who said she loved David ?, they said they had crushes on each other, not that they were in love or something, and who knows if they dated, get married and get a divorce? agreed that they should have been together but remember that these people have real partners who they are married to with families and kids so it’s not fair on them to tell them they should drop the people they love and are with for past chemistry

It was just a crush and it wasn’t meant to be. Had they gotten together and broken up, one of them probably would’ve quit the show early, ruining the Friends we all know and love today. They kept it professional, which is so rare in Hollywood. Props to them.
I've been trying to figure this out for a long time, and now putting the two together. I think Jen's rhinoplasty actually affected her nasal passages because her voice is completely different than it was a few years ago. when she speaks it sort of feels like she's a different person to me, but it wasn't her mannerisms that have changed. I think maybe her voice was affected by some of her plastic surgery.

Did anyone else feel that this was like a safe reveal because both aren’t currently involved with anyone ? And they knew the audience would go crazy with this reveal! I’m not saying that it’s just made up for the reunion.. I mean Courtney and Matthew also dated but that didn’t come up .. You see what I mean?🙈 Edit - the point I was trying to make was that like how David said that he and Jen had a thing for each other, the same way the other actors also must have felt and could have said it in a no big deal just reminiscing kind of way .. but they didn’t and that’s why it felt sort of scripted
David said that he and Jennifer have maintained their boundaries, which I really admire and about the CRUSH thing it happens as they have worked for so long and also had good chemistry.
Ross had a crush on Rachel since he was in college. David had a crush on Jennifer since the first year working together. Maybe they can be together in the future

I love how professional they all are even though they are close friends this reunion was professional enough that you get to actually hear the questions and understand the show on a more mature level. It does not seem forced or fake

I just have to say that this brings my heart so much joy that they all loved each other so much. They’re amazing people. Also, I love Perry, I hope he feels better. ❤️
