Just wanted to say that out of all the people I have seen react to "Don't hug me I'm scared" you have been my favorite; you are not only hilariously entertaining to watch, but also give a lot of thorough insight into the context of the episodes, pointing out easter eggs, or explaining the morals to what the big picture of the story has to offer. I love how, instead of feeling like a reaction channel, Hobo Ryan feels like a skits channel with reactions that revolve around the skits. Easily the most entertaining and creative "reactions" I've ever seen!

Don’t know when you’ll reading this, but the secrets really start to pick up in episode 5. I really wanna see you try to guess how the show will end having only watched the first 5 episodes.

The funng thing ab this episode is that that worm is the only teacher in the enire dhmis universe that was "ignored" by them, most of the times those 3 fellas obey the teachers by fear curiosity or were forced without stopping them but with him they dont care and even interrupted his song and starring harassing him making him cry too,a thing that was never seen (the only time that they tried to stop a teacher was when RG,in ep 4 of the yt series,told the computer to shut up and it ended w the computer screaming and glitching the whole thing forcing them to continue his lesson" i tought it was an interesting and a funny detail ab how the worm is just a parasite that cant even make ppl listen to his song by how he is annoying Thats all glad u are back!! Keep going w ur work ;)

Wow, this episode. It's reception has seen a split. Some love it, while others think it's a lot slower or more boring. Warren (the wor- *EAGLE* ) is a fascinating character to me. You can tell he genuinely wants to be a shiny light for victims of bullying or harassment, but the problem is that he's so in his own head that he doesn't care to listen to others. An interesting thing was that he only seemed vulnerable when he brought up the restaurant style meal. Even then, he disregarded their answer when it was something he didn't like. The trio also never listens to them. Usually they'd go right along with a lesson, but it's like they can see warren for who he is immediately, a gross and toxic worm instead of a heroic and stoic eagle. He has to worm (HA) his way into situations to get the attention of anyone. Some fans have brought up how duck and red didn't tear yellow down for not reviving an email. The believe that yellow only wanted attention, much like warren. But this does stretch some things to make it work. I personally I love warren as a character and the episode. It works for me, even though I do understand he's annoying. The episode has such a great message about real friendships. There's bound to be arguments and fights, but in the end, they still care for each other.

One thing that I’ve found very interesting about Duck’s character is that over the series there’s a very strong theme of him either having a lot of admiration for the military or being an actual veteran himself (like when he was on that plane in the Death episode). And that’s why I find his comment about forging documents leading to so many deaths in this episode even funnier, because those could possibly be repressed memories from him being in the military! Or maybe this could be in reference to something else that I’m completely missing. Either way, its been a very long running theme in the show overall, with even a photo of Duck in the Time episode from the webseries looking like he’s wearing a military uniform. I really enjoy the analysis/review hybrids that you’ve made these DHMIS reviews with as well, and the little skits that you’ve been doing at throughout them that relate to the whichever episode that you are reviewing. Also, during the ending song I think that they are saying that you should try not to worry that you are completely insane because its the worm in your brain that’s causing things like depression and self-doubt, and not insanity.

Great reaction it's nice to see a reactor who puts so much effort into their videos. I didn't expect the computer to be such a big part of the episode he's the only returning teacher to play such a big part.

Nobody I've seen reacting to this series ever reacts to Yumferdinker. She's covered in eyeballs. That's objectively freaky. But it's such a non-issue to anyone who loves this series because of all the other freaky shit.

I think this might be a personal favorite episode of mine, though only because of the first have. The interplay between Warren and the main trio is just too hilarious, especially Warren's song that was not-so-secretly about him.

Sorry this took so long to get up. Channel 4 would not unblock it for anything. I don't know why they changed all of a sudden and no one else had this problem but they kept blocking it. Usually I send the a apeal over and they let it go like the last three but this one they would not budge. So I had to make the video transparent. I hope it doesn't ruin the video for you and I hope you enjoy it.

The fact this episode is almost unanimously agreed to be the weakest of the new episodes by the fandom is a testament to the quality of the show. Warren is such an incredibly well written character, probably my favorite of the new teachers in terms of being unsettling. It also has some incredible quotes, like ‘thanks to you, I am a figure of ridicule within the market community’ and ‘fetch me my gauging tools’. This is the best episode for comedy in my opinion. Not the best overall though, in fact, nowhere close, which is insane because it’s so good

Here's a little fun fact; Yellow Guys Shy Imaginary Older Brother was a character in the original pilot (aka, Wakey Wakey), but he seemed to be just another resident of Clay Hill with little connection with Yellow Guy, at least I think that is.

Warren was mentioned in the death episode on Duck’s newspaper. “Worm fired for harassment.”

This episode is a really great episode. I think most people have encountered Warren the Worm.. I mean Eagle

I've been looking forward to this. This is by far the craziest episode in any of the shows. Oh God, I never noticed Warren being fired on the newspaper. XD

toxic friends who are so self-centered like Warren just behave the worst, never fun. the ending is hilarious, very good episode! i'm extremely excited for you to watch these last two episodes, it's about to get real

I can't tell if that's meant to be unsettling or not. Maybe I'm the only one but when they stare directly at the camera and say "there's a worm in your brain." it feels like they mean it literally.

I love how unlike the other teachers where they just go along with the message they spent most of the time shitting on the worm. Also i've noticed other than the briefcase from the first episode the mentors have gotten killed off The Coffen was accidentally killed by Yellow Guy's shovel, Roy of course kills the family and in this one the worm gets stabbed by Duck Guy. Makes me think the main three might not be the only ones who are stuck in this show and are just as much trapped as they are.

THEORY: Computer appears in the FOURTH episode of both series because he’s the FOURTH friend. That’s why he also immediately calls out Warren’s lies, antagonizes Warren with the other three, helps save Yellow Guy, and gives them the glass computer. He’s the fourth friend that blob was trying to be (before Crow took care of it).

The song at the end reminds me of the Phineous and Ferb song "There's a Platypus Controlling Me". Where the song starts with something very literal and turn it into a metaphor.

Finally someone who thought of Mr meaty when they saw the worm's design! His eyes look straight out of their puppet style!

I love how you think about what you are reacting rather then most i have seen react to this just saying this is insane and thats the end of it when there is so much in there and for sure Duck has to be the funniest character i have seen in a while dude makes me laugh so bad everytime he opens his mouth.

This one felt so real, I've known some "Warrens" in my life, even the look feels similar to one of them.

NGL when I first heard the ‘Worm in Our Brain’ I actually started to tear up. And then the ending happened and all was right with the world.

Hey man i've loved your take on this series and can't wait for you to watch the final 2. Without any spoilers, I think that their memory is selective. They remember things like that computer day comes once a year, and I'm sure that the horror that ensues is just something that they are used to at this point because it is pretty much a daily occurrence. That said, I think their brains just kinda subconsciously forget stuff that they can't make sense of. It's a whole world of misinformation so it's likely that very little makes sense to them, so they hold onto what they can figure out or what they've been taught but not so much the other things. We've caught them questioning things every now and then, questions that never seem to get answered, ignored or even punished (think about Duck's bleeding ears in Time). So the forgetting is more of a side effect of being in this system for so long, with acceptance being the only way they can handle it.

I really liked the ending of this episode! Being able to reassure yourself that you're not COMPLETELY nuts is comforting, and framing negative thoughts as a worm in your brain helps rationalise against them. The jokes are just a bonus :3

My favorite Sour Patch kid is actually the yellow one.

Around 1 minute 54 seconds into the episode when they're trying Yellow Guy's name as the password, the scene cuts to an oddly wide shot of the whole room. I assume there's some secret in this shot but I haven't figured it out yet. Does anyone see what I mean? The only thing that sticks out is a wifi router on the left wall with eyeballs, who unfortunately doesn't have any lines in the episode.

I would be the funniest thing in the world to find out that the family episode was all an elaborate scheme from this 'The Hills Have Eyes' looking ass puppet.

He mentions a Business Man and Choo Choo Man, referencing the teachers from the Jobs and Transport episodes. He also references the Family, Friendship, and Electricity episodes with Family Man, Friendly Fellow, and Plug-In Man.

Not a major spoiler but pay attention to the fact that you always view the trio in the house at a specific angle. That comes into play in episode six.

At the end you mention you don't want this series to end, but it's always a little sad to me when creators are railroaded into making the same thing over and over again long after they've lost creative interest just because there's demand. While the Simpsons is the poster-child for this, a better example might be Rick and Morty. I forget if it was Dan Harmon or Justun Roiland, but one of them expressed a long time ago that they felt trapped by the series because they had a lot of other ideas they wanted to explore, but R&M demand was so strong, they couldn't walk away. While I'm sure they tried to integrate some of those ideas or spin them off into something like Solar Opposites, I'm sure they couldn't work on some of those ideas and that spark of creativity within them just died a little and we'll only ever have so much time for our favorite creators to pursue their art before they perish or lose interest so it's sad to think we'll never get to see those other ideas just because the masses demand blood.
