18 to 25 goes by in a flash, and you won't be in your prime till 25 at least. The prime you're in right now is to be young and free and not too focused on settling down and getting everything in order. That will all naturally happen by your late 20s. I wouldn't be too concerned if 19 to 22 Yr old friends are struggling to find direction, it's pretty natural tbh
I Disagree ab prioritizing a boyfriend over your best friends. You should never put any man over your friends until there’s a ring on your finger. Because who are you going to run to once he breaks your heart? Exactly. And even when you’re married, ladies do not ever cut off all your friends and put all your eggs into The husband basket. Don’t be dumb!!
Loved this podcast as always! I have a question for all of you. I'm having trouble with a friend. A lot of people say I'm emotionally more mature than most people my age, but she's really immature (of course that's not a bad thing, but sometimes it gets in the way) we met when we were 7 and 8 and she was never that nice to me. But I was a doormat then and so we got along fine. But once we were 11 and 10 (I'm the older one), we started to grow apart. I started being more mature and taking an interest in typical middle school things, while she was still doing very little things and talked in a childish manner. Our hobbies are different and she's gotten meaner over the years. She also makes me feel very uncomfortable because she says things like "youre so pretty, i wish i was you". I appreciate the compliment but its still a little awkward, especially since she still yells at me if things don't go her way. She also gets really jealous when I hang out with my other friends and constantly plays victim. I understand she's younger mentally and has learning disabilities but she still has affected my mental health and I want to cut her off, but I don't know how without hurting her feelings. I’ve also caught her talking bad about me behind my back to my other friends. What's your advice?
