15:52 If you'll Excuse me. The greeting 'osaki ni'(ahead) of the haitas here has two meanings. In Japanese, 'Tabidachi' (setting off or on a trip) means 'travel' and 'pass away'. So when Heiter says 'osaki ni', it is a farewell greeting that means 'I will travel ahead of you (return to the Holy City)' and 'I will pass away first'. The dialogue is difficult to convey to people abroad, but this is a scene with a lot of emotional weight.

@@0ptriX I am Japanese, so I watch anime in Japanese. There may possibly be a line that is translated into English that has a double meaning in Japanese, but is not conveyed in English. In the previous season's anime, mistranslations were a hot topic at the apothecary.

most importantly I feel like It's a complete story of calmness, charm ,quite love and thrill... soo much of these that it will refresh you even if you were depressed... I love this anime's vibe sooo much... very rare animes do these together... SUCH a beautiful STORY it is that it is worth of telling to your grandkids

Watching this anime hits different as an adult. All the memories past adventures in your youth or school days come rushing back. You relate to Frieren much more as she reminisces about her party members.

subs were probably made with AI... most of it doesnt get the real meaning in Japanese and was translated in literal english words. I would honestly suggest to folks who dont understand 日本語 to read the subs and try to understand the moment.
