Same here, with all my aa builds. As soon as I switch back I get 3 carrier games in a row. So I switched back. What do you know, no carriers for 5 games straight. War gaming algorithm strikes again.
Is the hot fix active? Definitely seems to be easier to get the clear sky medal. It's definitely bringing the team together more. Everyone wants to get in pan European the AA bubble. Lol had way more fun today even with a couple of bad losses. Seems like all the complaining paid off. 😎
Friendly tip, just call it “the seven” or “seven provinces.” D-E-7 is not a thing. The name literally means “the seven provinces” in Dutch. (That was the name of the famous Admiral Michiel de Ruyter’s flagship in the 1670’s.)
@@falken3413 checked her definitely need to check the actual DPS of each range. I don't have Rochester or the mini Alaska soo Baltimore has the heaviest AA for me.
@@falken3413that’s because Montpelier has progressive AA like most boats, unlike Rochester which has instant AA. With my Montpelier commander build inspired by King and Yamaguchi, all three at 16/3, Montpelier the boat has a max range of 7.3KM. But it deals 135 damaged per second. At 5.1 KM it gains another 95dps and 101dps. At 2.9KM it nav’s another 210dps for a total of 481dps at sub-3KM ranges. This means aircraft have to pretty much be on their attack run to receive max damage. However while the Rochester also has a max AA range of 7.3KM under this build, its entire AA suite delivers its maximum DPS at that same 7.3KM! That’s a whopping 547dps with this build, FOUR TIMES the DPS of Montpelier at max range . And a concealment mod brings your arial spot range down to 7.1KM, meaning enemy aircraft are receiving that damage before they even spot you. Rochester is a proper menace to aircraft at the tier in a way no other cruiser at the tier is. So that likely explains your feeling about your AA build.
I run king and yukikaze with bonus AA damage for inspirations on conrad, so far my best is 69 planes against a Lexington, pre patch was 67 planes vs Kaga 🤌
