Frimpong for around 40m or Cancelo for around 30m, I choose Frimpong all day everyday, much younger, had a better season than Cancelo and has a higher cealing since he can still develop. Easy choice for me.

They should offer to pay Frimpong’s release clause in installments with the loan of Julian Araujo until the fee is paid in full. That way they don’t need money for a replacement and good experience for Araujo. I would have him over Cancelo if it’s an extra 10mil. I would do similar with Balde following his injury. Get Grimaldo and give them Balde on Loan. Grimaldo at the moment is better than Balde. Balde will probably develop better under Xabi Alonso than at Barca currently.

Diaz is a far better player than overhyped Spanish winger's. Diaz plays under Klopp. Anyone who knows about football and have some sense will not choose Nico over Diaz. This is the problem. We have to much delusion Fans. We need experienced Winger who can play LW. Diaz is very good but we should not pay more than 45 M. Board should also get approval from new Coach before signing any one. If our Coach want Diaz than we should negotiate and bring him.

If we want Frimpong to play as a RW/LW I’m not opposed to it IF we sign Nico Williams AND a pivot FIRST!!!!! Frimpong is a RW who was converted into a RWB. His profile wouldn’t work in our system, we just watched Cancelo get exposed defensively last season. We also already have an attacking heavy fullback in Balde who is better defensively than Frimpong. If we bring him in at RB well just be unbalanced again
Barcaboy stop thinking of cancelo as just a RB, he played left back 70% of the season. Frimpong could be a great investment and is already a quality player. Flick likes to have rapid players who can run a lot, frimpong is just that. Flick also likes to play attacking football, frimpong is such a hansi flick player. Also if barca play a 3 back he’d fit as a wingback there. It shouldn’t be the first or even second priority but let’s not act like this wouldn’t be a quality signing.

Frimpong is a purely right sided player and baldes purely left sided, so they wouldn’t affect each others minutes or development, and if barca keep cancelo on loan, it’d would be good for not over working balde and frimpong as cancelo could play on both sides. Personally, knowing how Flick likes to play, i’d assume his first choice back line (if frimpong was bought) would be LB: Balde CB: Araujo CB: Kounde RB: Frimpong with this lineup you have quality defense, offense, speed, endurance, passing and dribbling ability
