Olivia explains to Nina why she is prepared to give up her memories of their life together scene from A Short Story About Love. Fringe belongs to Warner Bros. Entertainment NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT intended.
So cool to see that even though Olivia thinks she's just choosing to have the memories of a better Olivia, she's actually choosing to be herself. Everyone is telling her that it's wrong but she can't help but feel right about it... cause it's actually her memories and her experiences that she's choosing, not someone else's. She's acting out of pure instinct! Beautiful scene, awesome acting!
I like how you put this. I always thought it strange how she just excepted everything. But your right, she felt this was her, this was right. Deep down she knew this was the correct memories and went with it
I have a strong feeling that even if Olivia forgets her life with Nina, she'll still remember her feelings about it. Kinda like the episode "One Night In October". "I've always thought that there were people who leave an indelible mark on your soul. An imprint that can never be erased."
Such a great scene. Amazing acting. It's kinda interesting to hear Olivia's take, while she's still somewhat Amber, of her letting go of the idea of love and not liking that, 'version of her.' Juxtaposed, to what September said about how it was her love for Peter & visa versa (well and others but her's is super strong) that brought him back. Seeing as how he manifested before she actively started to get her memories back. OH I want to see her & Peter talking about this! I wonder then,
It is called "Funeral Pyre Straits" by Chris Tilton. This is also used in the episode (3x22) when Oliva's funeral displayed. Nina was my least favorite character. The actress may be good, but I can't tell because every scene with her seemed forced and didn't really fit. I never bought the her and Olivia connection. Hated every second of them trying to establish a mother daughter bond.
