Well, when you have a dog like Floyd you have to keep up to speed. All the time.
Why do we create so much?
Why can't I focus on one thing and repeat it until we both remember every move perfectly?
Why the hell do I bother myself with thousands of twists, trainings of speed or tricks like this?
The answer is simple- I have to keep up to speed ;)
I guess both me and Floyd are the types of souls who need changes, need move and learn to be prepared for all the possible situations. Everyone who follows this site saw things which I do with my dog, they are not simple, I guess they would also be unsafe if I wasn't fast enough to catch him or show the next move.
And at this point with the rescue for me comes all those tricks!
While doing most of them you need not only to move but also to think correctly. And they work second to none in my case.
That's why I have created this video (and I plan to share more parts)- to encourage you to try to boost the human part in your frisbee teams!
How do I recommend to train those tricks?
At first, please, start with the basics, it's important not only for your dog but also for you not to get annoyed fast ;) Learning the tricks one by one may help to increase your motivation and intrest in this sport! Don't try to play them with your dog too soon (In my case I start adding tricks while 90% of what I train alone is correct). It's great if you try to master a new thing from different positions of your body (it makes you more prepared for future work with a dog). And hey, never stop creating, even something which at first seems impossible may appear a peace of cake when you will consider all the ways to do it!
