“LOVE, too, is an acronym. It stands for “Level of Violence.” A way of measuring someone’s capacity to hurt. The more you kill, the easier it becomes to distance yourself. The more you distance yourself, the less you will hurt. The more easily you can bring yourself to hurt others.” - Sans
It seems that this genocidal side of Frisk isn't coming from Chara like people speculated in the original Genocide route. It's coming from their general hatred towards Betty, which skyrockets at the beginning of this scene, judging by how Frisk jumps from LV 3 to LV 19 in just a second. Also explains why Betty says their determination suddenly felt different. It was no longer the determination to beat her. It was the determination to *kill her.*
in the case of Glitchtale, yes, the HATE originated from Frisk and not Chara, and the reason why Chara turned evil was because Frisk tried to suppress and do away w/ the HATE and it latched onto Chara instead. in S1 of Glitchtale, when they defeated Chara and broke the Barrier, the HATE upon Chara's demise escaped and eventually fell into Vanessa's hands. in this episode, Frisk tried to raise their DT by raising their LV hence why they harshly brushed off Toriel and Asriel because they had intent to hurt them and thus it raised their LV. in this scene, when Betty killed and absorbed Asriel, Frisk didnt only have the intent to harm Betty, they had the intent to KILL Betty for what she did, Frisk's HATE and intent to kill causing their LV to shoot up drastically from 3 to 19. in canon Undertale, there is no "HATE" concept, though it was confirmed Chara hated humanity, and maybe to some degree themselves for being human, as Asriel tells Frisk at the end of the True Pacifist route; it's also mildly hinted Frisk possibly also hated humanity though they left their intent for falling into the Underground up for interpretation, whereas w/ Chara it's indirectly confirmed they were likely trying to kill themselves since Asriel said Chara came to Mt. Ebott and fell into the Underground for "not a very good reason..."
It is a pity that Frisk will not return anymore, but I was interested in watching him. Unlike Chara, who only says that he will save everyone ... I like it when Frisk becomes emotionless ...
Technically, when Sans got the Determination from Frisk, he got more powerful AND his soul is attached-ish to Frisk's soul. So, when you think about this more clearly, when Sans got killed he died in the void (due to the lack of his soul mixed with Frisk's). It's like he got erased but he didn't. Either way, that's not the point. Gaster was in the void, erased, no one remembered him until Sans brought him back. Frisk erased himself from the timeline like Gaster, which means that he can still come back, BUT...let's say, in a VERY complicated way. Same for Chara, he was in the void, and when you put all of this together you get GLITCHTALE He protecc He attacc But most importantly He may be comin' bacc
The one who needs this Asriel ... It would be better if Frisk returned .. Because Chara in season 2 is not interesting .. It would be better to reveal the genocidal version of Frisk
Small detail: at 0:49, you can see the handguards on frisk's sword shrink and disappear, which means they are basically holding one of those things that they 'slash' into the air. Its a tiny and insignificant detail, but an interesting one.
I disagree, what happened here was entirely dependent on Frisk's emotional state, hence why they were so bloodlusted and ready to throw everything away in order to kill Betty. After this battle though when they fought again the battle wasn't as one sided as it was here which means Betty was not only stronger but was also better prepared to fight Frisk. At best if Frisk was in Chara's position in the final fight they would have had to be at least LV20 and someone would have needed to die in order to get them as bloodlusted as they were during this battle in order for them to become like this again. Heck Chara was in a better position than Frisk was the first time since presumably Chara inherited Frisk's LV19 when they took their souls and when you add their mastery/control over HATE, Chara would have been even stronger than Frisk was here. If Frisk was in Chara's position I don't really think the battle would have gone as well as it did since Frisk had never been exposed to their own HATE so they probably wouldn't have been able to handle it as well as Chara.
Damn man your Channel is cool most of it its a remix of true love, my favorite theme in glitchtale, and damn.. frisk was so epic then he destroyed betty.. Its sad that he is gone now.
Just think, minus the red glowey sword, this is what Sans had to deal with. And this is the very same heartless creature that he managed to kill with ease at least 10 times in a row.
Nate Sans the Nerd that isn't real knife, that's literally,A SWORD,not the real knife, that's not even used anymore, all charas weapons are swords and knives that are both made of determination
HOLY shit that Metal Drop at Frisk Levels Up, fucking hairs stood on end when I saw that timing And also, this fits SO FUCKING MUCH for this, although my one tidbit about this battle was that the main BIG beat drop at the start happens with the transformation and not with Betty trying some trick and Frisk leveling up and shutting her down in stylish rage Also here's a solid question, if Hate and Fear get to be traits, why doesn't Anger/Rage?
Heres my theory: Hatred hijacks traits and SOULs while anger/rage/bloodlust gives you an insane powerboost. Think about it this way. The more angry you are, you can feel your blood pressure and heart rate rise, right? Well with SOULs i think that these feelings make the soul “output” more energy and enhance it
Frisk, sans, and alphys are currently vibing in nonexistence together. If anybody could frigure out how to come back from that, itd be those 3 for sure
Can we just talk about how Betty does not realize she was trying to kill a human that basically would delete the entire timeline and therefore is trying to erase herself for some reason?
