I'm no fashionista, but even I know shiny shoes and a hoodie is a monumental faux pas!! Anyway, Carl seems so much more composed. The psychologist is obviously helping. Will be interesting to see what effect it has on Carl's in ring performance. Can't wait for the fight!

Does Groves not understand why a referee would stop a fight. If you are losing that isn't an excuse to stop it. If you are in danger of being hurt badly that is a reason to stop it. If you turn your back on your opponent whilst on wobbly legs that is a reason to stop it.

Groves' trying so hard to be on the Cobra's level. He is fortunate to be fighting him...let alone a rematch. What the ref. sees in that ring is much more detailed VS what we see on TV and live TV. The ref. is at close proximity. The ref stopped because Groves was getting hurt...just my opinion!

arsenalfanrichi The supposedly early stoppage. You have to be a boxer to truly understand I guess. I did amateur boxing for 8 years and I experienced the same scenario. The 2 of my 8 losses out of my 44 bouts were early stoppage because I looked more beaten than I actually was. Sucks, but refs are there to referee and protect.

I understand stoppages happen, Believe me, but you saw the anger in Groves immediately after the stoppage. He was defending himself and was winning the fight, It wasn't a pummeling by Froch up- until that point, Groves wasn't hurt either and he had his hands up and was moving ok. I was simply confused by suggesting Froch is a top fighter, I would only concede he has immense power, in terms of Boxing ability he's a jobber lol (bit extreme with that, but i don't rate his boxing ability) Congrats a good record :)

I dont believe what mr froch is saying about taking the fight.He contradicts himself an awful lot.How he really felt about the rematch is documented in quite a few of his interviews before the fight was made.He was forced into this fight no two ways about it.

this was the last good verbal spar the two had together - the weigh in and final press conference were very quiet. I will miss these two bitching and feuding which has been entertaining for a year and a half

It's not that Groves lost but it's more like Carl didn't win if you know what I mean... Froch won the fight but Groves won the event. Carl was in trouble for the first fight but this time around I think he has a lot more respect for George and also George is trying too hard to get into Carl's head this time, not to mention that George is winding himself up at the fact that he's struggling to annoy Carl as much

Groves best performance couldnt beat Froch's worse. Groves is good but yet to reach the level an on form Froch has already been. Good luck Groves but I think your about to feel the true realisation of fighting a champion. However I wouldn't care if you won the rematch and prove me utterly wrong. Best wishes to both fighters.

"I know carl better" groves. Carl never knew about groves before this fight. Now froch knows him big time. More importantly Robert in the house McCracken knows him. Groves is using very basic manipulation techniques and froch seeing a physiologist has figured it out. "It's as simple as that"

Froch is trying to come across cool and collected but it doesn't work imo. even when he makes a good point Groves comes across better but i guess its just opinions. the fact is Groves made Carl look silly in the first fight, that's why he will have the edge during the build up, whatever Froch says he knows this. added to that Groves looked more relaxed to me, Froch looked tense and was overly keen to get his points across. not that it matters but I think it shows the pressure is getting to Carl more, and so it should

The first fight was stopped prematurely, no doubt, Carl admits that himself but what half of you casual boxing fans don't know is whether you like it or not Grove's was hurt and he did dip, so with that in mind in MY OPINION, Groves was going to sleep anyways if the ref let it continue. Also before the first fight everyone was behind Carl with him being cheered into the ring and Groves getting booed and then it reverses because a decision was made out of Carl's control and not his fault, where is your loyalty? Groves is still the same old smarmy, cocky, arrogant bastard with a huge chip on his shoulder. He was an immature disrespectful brat in the build up to the first fight, not giving the world champion the respect that he deserves, come May 31st I hope Froch destroy's this anal bead.
