I think this is the best Prime 1 LOTR piece they made, and frankly the only one I would consider getting since space is now the biggest issue with my collecting.
WOW!, what a brilliant statue to have!. I love me a good Gollum sculpt, and I think this is the best I have seen. Metal sword!, light up phile, awesome base and paint job. Frodos face is pretty darn close enough, and all around this has to be one of my favorite LOTR pieces (not that I have it). WETA should be making theirs as good. Really enjoyed this one, awesome presentation, thank you sir.
It really is amazing, this is one of the best LOTR Prime 1 pieces ever... though I still love the Sauron 1/4 just a tiny bit more. Thanks for commenting!

Another awesome review. And a fantastic statue! Love that you still point out everything that’s not as great as the rest. For me it would be the thick Gollum’s hair. And also the one ring on the base. I think it’s a bit distracting. Other than that, what a great piece!

Looks amazing! The best likeness out of Prime 1’s lotr human statues. My few criticisms would be that the edges of the webbing and Gollum’s hair strands are too thick. But the rest is near perfect. Can’t wait to receive mine after a month or so. Are you gonna display the 1:1 scale phial with this statue? I think that’s what I’ll do.

Nice statue. I think its clear Prime1 gives the best statues, but when it comes to LOTR I say my choice would be Weta, if i'd collect it. I don't know why, but I think that, even if they look like a bit worse overall, those still look more original since Weta staff are the people who made the art for the movies. Prime1 looks just like this high end professional who is hired to do a job he's good at, but it's not the same thing. Anyway, still an awesome piece to add to your collection (and anyway Weta is very pricey imho in proportion). Nice video as always!!
Yeah there's no doubt Weta is still my preference when it comes to statues as they not only do main characters but all types of side pieces and environments. There are only really a few Prime1 pieces I wanted to get and this was 1 of them (I do have the Gandalf on pre-order though). Thanks again for commenting man!
@@thecyberhobbit I had the PCS 1/3 Wolverine and the points of his claws felt like legitimate knives, so ultimately decided to sell it. Wanted to make sure that it wasn’t a similar situation with Sting.
