In this fun basketball activity, Frog and the alligator. The teacher will be the alligator, and the students will be the frogs. This fun activity will accommodate many kids with different abilities. Form small groups of 3 to 4 kids, depending on the availability of the balls, and mark the playing area in a circle or oval shape with flat markers or cones. All the groups will stand behind each marker or the cones, and each group will have a basketball. Place different sizes of mats and hula hoops in the playing area as a safe zone. When the command go is given, all the kids with the basketball dribble through and around the safe zones. When the teacher says lunchtime, all the kids will quickly stand in the nearest safe zones before the teacher can catch or tag them. If they got caught, they must do ten jumping jacks to get back into the game. When the teacher gives a command to switch with the next kid, the kids with the basketball quickly dribble back to their group and pass it to the next player, and it goes on. To make it challenging, limit the holding capacity of each safe zones. Hula hoops can hold one kid, square mats can hold two kids, and rectangle mats can hold four kids. If extra kids are in the safe zones, the teacher can get them all. Or challenge them to dribble with non-dominant hands. To make it easier, they can carry the ball and run at lunchtime. Encourage kids to keep their heads up and dribble without slapping and carrying the basketball. Have fun. Do like, share and subscribe to the channel. ‪@funfitkids1653‬
