The Mig 21, which was known to NATO by the codename "Fishbed", is a supersonic interceptor fighter jet developed by Soviet Russia during the 1950's and 60's. Initially, due to poor placement of the internal fuel tanks, the aircraft only had a flight time of about an hour. But with subsequent upgrades and improvements it became one of the most mass-produced aircraft of its era, with many still being used in active service to the present day.
Join me in this video, as I build and review a 1969 vintage Frog 1/72 scale plastic model kit of this long lived interceptor.
