Congratulations on the growth. 2 brain surgeries this year. Tumor removed. Cancer.. going toe to toe with it. Encourage and inspire is my goal now as well as a touch of sports content that people seem to enjoy. It's fuel for my brain..has motivated me and I'm driven to help others and so it's a great thing. Attitude is such a key thing in all that we do. Ready to inspire and help others through trials with cancer. I'm a southern guy from Beaumont, Texas. Would love to go into children's hospitals and help some of these kiddos know that hey,you can get through this thing. Jess,you do a great job. I have learned a lot from you.

Love how you went in with your strategies. Congratulations on the growth. I found myself falling into the trying to be perfect category and this is something I want to work, as well as becoming more comfortable about who I am on camera and applying the “RU-vid strategy” to make it work. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I know I am missing something like something big. I have been an online Marketer, trainer, teacher for free since 2016 I have built like hundreds of websites, but I am getting frustrated because I have failed my husband I believe. I need to face my fear of you tube and branding myself and also be live make videos. I am so Happy I discovered you last week I have come just located you out of know where. I love how you pointed out your growth was slow and steady. So many of us wait around hoping to “blow up” and when that doesn’t happen to us but we see it happen to so many others who started after us can so easily have us asking “what am I doing wrong???”

I want to say that I absolutely love that you are growing a community here. Most RU-vidrs that are above 50 k subbys don’t respond to any of their comments. The bigger the channel the less personal it is unless you are growing a community. :) I love seeing you grow, watching you be yourself and not being the person your subbys want you to be, and most of all not hiding the true you. The last video really hit home for me and seeing someone so genuine just puts a smile on my face. I feel like I am part of a community that is strong and faith filled. Hi Jessica. Great video, I am at 5k subs after 1 year which is great, but I haven’t worked out how many videos I really need to do every week to continue to grow. I find that even if I do 1 every day or 1 every 2 days my channel impressions won’t go beyond ‘what seems a cap’, but if I do twice a week it does drop a far bit. Just wondered what you find is the sweet spot (I am personal finance channel).

I remember watching those early videos of you! Looking back I think you did really well being on camera. You looked confident and I feel your personality shone. But I know how it is with past videos. I want to private mine! Great to hear your growth has been slow and steady (great for me not you lol) as mine has also been slow. You are the second person today to say short content is not your jam which shows I love a chatty vlog! I think for some time due to advice by the gurus it’s seemed like you have to be short and snappy to beat the algorithm but more and more I’m finding channels who cracks it by letting us see who they are. I’m trying to say there’s more than one way to skin a cat and they’re equally as viable. You do need the personality for the chatty vids to work (which you do have) omg I’ll stop rambling lol 😂

I think I came across your channel when you were sounding neutral and the next thing I knew you changed to being southern 😂 over here we rarely hear southern accent because hollywood is all about the californian/new york accents so most time I have to really listen to what you were saying 😂

I made 6 videos about running and grew my channel to 42 subs in 6 weeks, but I just deleted all those videos to start a new niche. It's about yoyoing and how to do tricks from beginner to pro, yoyo maintenance, and how to perform on stage. There is 5 main channel in this niche. Here are their sub counts: 250K, 103k, 56K, 14k, and 2k. Before I start posting videos I want to know how to grow in a smaller niche?

Hi there, I’ve been watching several of your videos and you have some very valuable Contant. I wonder though, can you direct me to one of your videos or to a resource to help me set up the cameras and lighting in my home studio. I am an art teacher and I teach painting classes online and I’m really struggling with the lighting in the camera. I really need help. I thought I was doing everything right. I have everything matching, organized and I’m just not getting many views. I have almost 5000 subscribers on tiktok. The algorithm over here just seems different. Is it too late to start on this platform?

The algorithm on TikTok is VERY different than most anything else - Instagram and RU-vid included. Here’s the thing though - it’s rarely predictable and the leads/people/followers aren’t generally as high quality (go follow you somewhere else, buy from you, etc), so while it is different and possibly easier to grow, that’s vanity metrics at its finest. No, absolutely not, it’s not too late, you just have to do everything right: - be super consistent - use the powers of search (and knowing what YOU can rank for) - understand what your audience wants on RU-vid

Contrary to what you believe, I think your hair look better and healthier shorter.amd all the "y'all" drawl is actually off-putting. Perhaps this is why your growth is stagnating.
