My mom and I got to meet James, Denise and Russell on vacation 5 years ago. We were passing through and decided to stop and see some of the Andy Griffith sights when we found Mayberry Music and it truly was the best part of our vacation. It was an unexpected blessing and we walked away with new friends. We've gone back every summer since.
VERY fortunate to play for them when we were on the Americana tour when I played drums for the DMB back in the early 80's. The "More Than Just Good Ole Boys" album had just came out. It was DMB, the Hoppers, and the Easter Bros. as I recall. We did about 8 concerts together with "multi-media". lol It was a few projectors and 3 big screens......"computerized" even!!!! lol It was great! God Bless all the Easters. Love them all!!!!
I really enjoyed this episode greatly about Jim Easter and hearing his story this was really great to watch and hear Thank You and Merry Christmas.🎵🎶🎼❤❤🎼🎶🎵
I live in western SC and have friends connected to the Easter Brothers. Ervin Stone who made a Holiness Preacher and was from Martinsville VA sang tenor for them in the early days. Eddie Peach who lives in Atckins VA did a Peach Family CD at their studio a few years ago.
