You can become a Physician assistant that’s equivalent to Clinical officer in Kenya but you have to go to university again to be fully trained to be a physician assistant though here in there USA . They will wave some courses that you have taken Kenya since they are the same but you have to go to college but in her case she chose to become Nurse because she wanted to otherwise I have seen clinical officers who become a physician assistant
Thanks for sharing, but I missed some point, did you say you started the caregiving job straight from Kenya as a clinical officer without some caregiving training?
With a bachelor of science in clinical medicine and community health it's very possible to become a PA if you pass the exams. Also you need the right connections. I have friends from Uganda ended up as PAs in Arizona.
Hot ☕️! I wonder why they don’t have CO’s in the US. Does the CO curriculum Match the PA curriculum? Wondering if I could’ve been easier for you to join PA school. You had to to what you had to do, I am sure your decision was best then:)
You can meet few requirements to become PA especially if you have graduated with bachelor's of science in clinical medicine and community health. (Not a diploma).
