This is great. I also got one of the sisters of your ambulance from LA county. I started my build 4 weeks ago. The wiring is ridiculous. I removed a good chunk. I did not remove the interior, that will be down the road. Doing a great job. Looking forward to the rest of your build. I’ll post mine in an another month once I get to Quartzsite. 🤙🏽

Oh ya I had moments when I regretted that I touched the wires. Now when I look back it wasn't that bad it just takes time. 45 h to be exact that's how long it took me to get to the naked frame.

I would like to have seen a video as you were doing it on how you took out the wires that you didn’t need and left the wires that were important to keep. Did you have an electrician to advise? If not, what or who was your advisor? Thanks. Tackling the electrical issue looks really overwhelming for the average DIY

@@wilty5 I took out all of the wires. Didn't leave anything. I started with a fresh canvas. I did everything myself looking up stuff on RU-vid and Facebook groups.

@@wanderingbart thanks, I’ve seen videos of ambulance builds that say not to take out the wires.
