From a toy to a real power machine. Upgrading a low power column drill to 1300W power tool. 

I once bought a column drill. I liked it because it was nicely small in size.
But soon it proved to be underpowered and I couldn't use it for any serious work. I soon I forgot it in storage where it has been now laying 20 years or so. The unused device has plagued my mind and I finally decided to have a look if I could make it more powerful. I never investigated that drill closer and was happy to find a quite easy way to make it a real power tool.
Minimum number of parts needed, cost hardly nothing, installed for work in seconds. The corded power hand drill I can use for many purposes and move it from one tool into another.
This project suits perfectly to any real DIY man and I must say it was spice of life for me.
