I used to be an atheist too. God has changed my life. It's taken me a lot to get here. Abusive childhood, abusive relationships, a Near Death experience, poverty, abandonment. I used to hate what I've been through. But now I get to be a living testimony to Jesus. Praise God! If anyone wants to hear more about my testimonies I posted them in my channel. God bless. I'm also Anna, from Ukraine and I was somewhat raised as a Russian orthodox- Christian- spiritualist. I've always had huge interest towards Jesus and his life/teachings,but only today, at the age of 39, I'm truly connected to him, without a doubt. Its been a very long and tough road, full of struggle and pain, and guess what, the Lord has always been with me through it all. @TheKnowerseeker it has absolutely nothing to do with my personal choices or spiritual journey, as a whole...not even sure what you're trying to imply..maybe it's too early for debates and my brain is still asleep?! I still didn't ask for any input tho..I'm a spiritualist anyways, and my religious upbringing serves as a base ,nothing more nor less..some people extract something good out of their religious views, it does happen. My whole fam is still very religious, living in Ukraine and Russia..still go to church, read the bible and worship Christ..I just do it in a very different way! Blessed day!

"You did not chose me, but I chose you". Amen. As a former atheist who grew up in a very abusive home who had a mom who was a satanist and who later exposed me to every religion possible at her church... Believe me I tried all the religions there to free myself from that pain of being abused and broken of being told I'm not good enough....God saved me in my brokenness and revealed Himself in a very personal and deep way to me. I used to think Christians were crazy, now I became one of them and now I am crazy in a good way. I'm crazy about Jesus, my best friend in the whole world and universe, the One who stood by me through everything and never gave up on me, never failed me, and never left me. God is real and He is love. He loves everyone.
The gospels have never been delivered with such force, love and compassion than this. The Chosen has affected so many....as at dinner, our neighbors remarked how they would be fighting back tears and laughing minutes apart as they saw the "humaness" of Jesus....the winking, the joking....God & Man....what a powerful testimony to our savior...
I cried many tears watching the episodes multiple times. I felt Jesus was speaking directly to me as a lost Christian finding my way back home. I shared this app with so many of my nonchristian friends and I pray God would touch their hearts through whatever means possible. Thank you Dallis! God has been working with me for several months after being diagnosed with cancer.... I can confidently say, “death, where is thy sting.”.... Jesus is my all....

Wow, what an amazing testimony. I am still chocked up while I type this. I have been a Christian for 45 years, and a pastor for 18 years. The Chosen has blessed me tremendously. I am VERY GRATEFUL for the series. May God continue to bless the writers, the actors, the director, and the producers of this wonderful series.
Anna's experience is a bit like mine. I was never sure I was 100% right in choosing atheism in my mid 20s, but for a long time - like 30 years - had assumed that on the balance of probability the God belief had to be wrong. Then something happened, in late 2005, that convinced me that God was real. These days that certainty has faded a little and I'm back to operating on a balance-of-probability basis, only this time that balance falls on the side of God, a loving involved God, being real. The Chosen has made the Bible - the Gospel stories - a lot more accessible for me also, I love it. Thank you.
It's a God shaped hole. Some try to fill it with drugs, alcohol, money, power, success, etc. You will never feel whole until you let God fill it with his love.
@@oftin_wong Do you feel completely satisfied and content? If you have even the smallest feeling in your gut that you are not, something may be missing. I think we can get thrown off by the word "God", believing in an old man in the sky seems impossible, but you don't have to believe in anything, you can just know the content presence you are and sense. That can be God for you if that works for you. Religion can help, but it can also distort and confuse. In the end what actually matters is your relationship with God (or whatever word you want to use). To tell you the truth, I actually don't know and have a limited understanding. I just find that life works better for me in miraculous ways when I acknowledge that I am not in control. I've tried both ways, and praying and believing in God has made my life much better. That's just my experience. :)

Every time I watch the show I pray they’re blessed to continue as long as everyone is willing to continue. It’s seriously the best show I’ve ever seen! And I’ve seen a lot of Netflix! This show is incredible! It’s too important to lose momentum. Lord please give the entire crew strength to get through the long days. I love this testimony. I have to say that for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction, and after the world was hit by this pandemic, it received Jesus in return. So if someone says the pandemic was a bad thing, I say no, it wasn’t, it was a great thing that brought the Chosen to us and brought Jesus to us in a way he has never been seen before, that’s a good thing. I love Jesus with all my heart and I know he has chosen a time like this when all the world was locked in their homes searching for something to watch on tv, he had everyone’s attention and used this great opportunity to show his love to us all, and let us know there is hope in his salvation for us. Psalms 93 says that I will not fear the plague that comes at the midday, and it is because our God is with us if we choose the dwell in the shelter of the Most High. Thank you Dallas for being the tool the Lord used to bring this to us all, may there be millions of testimonies like this, so that we may outweigh the evil ones who only want to see us destroyed.
Pray for my sisters - we grew up in a Christian home , as adults my sisters have fallen away and now are searching and doing new age stuff etc ! My dad prayed for one sister in particular and he died in 2017 I know his prayers will be answered one day ! If you think to pray for them , their names are Maria and Michelle! 🥰

I was an atheist for over 8 years, and found Jesus in 2020. Within 20 days of losing all doubts in him, he cured me of my transgenderism&bisexuality, and made my bulimia & anorexia at least 80% better! GLORY TO GOD!!!

When He called me..it was like being invited to a "come as you are" party. This is what I told young women with whom I worked. Give it to Him..it belongs to Him in the first place. One girl added.." Come as you are..but you won't stay as you are..Thank God"

Anyone who knows the Lord reading this please take a moment and pray for my two youngest children (Hosannah age 5 and Noble age 3) to be brought home to me safely this year and for their abusers to be caught and stopped and prosecuted to the full extent of the law in Jesus Christs holy name. It is such a fantastic thing when a confessed atheist opens their mind and heart to the wonderful message of Christ and the power of God to change us from the inside out. This story and others like it is a true evidence of what is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 - "Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]." This is a true metamorphosis of our inner character, and we are truly born again in the spirit. I can really relate to Peter. His thinking that he has to do everything himself. And that because of his hard headedness it took more for him to finally grasp what Jesus was getting him to understand. Anna's story is so beautiful and yet another testimony of how God constantly gives graces and mercy when we go to Him, seek Him, surrender to Him. And now The Chosen is leading a new Christian to the Word and making it alive for her. Amen!
What she said is so true. There is NO SATISFACTION outside of Jesus. He alone is our resting place. Anywhere else we try to "make our home" is misery and sinking sand. He alone is worthy to receive all glory and blessing and honor.

I can relate to your story. I asked the Lord the same question, that if He was real to come into my life and show me. It took a long time to understand scriptures but 44 years later I know how important that day was. Sending continued blessings 👏

It is amazing what "things" people will believe in but not God! Then when they just pray for him to help their eyes are opened! Then they feel his spirit! Very happy for Anna!
I meet God the same way she did. God told me one day to get my Bible and read it. He had to tell me three times, but I finally did. After wiping heavy dust off of it, I said to God “If you are real, then show me.” I opened it up and when I read the first verses that came up at me, I cried. God turned my life around in minutes. I went from a non believer to a believer in an instant. God is amazing. I wanted to cry watching this video, because I know she is telling the truth. God works in wondrous ways.

How many lies have you told, and what do you call someone who lies? Have you ever stolen something, and what do you call someone who steals? Have you ever taken God’s name in vain (very serious; in Old Testament times, the Jews wouldn’t even say the name of God for fear of blasphemy) - even ‘OMG’? One more: Jesus said whoever looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery in his heart; have you ever looked with lust? Well I’m not judging you - but if you’ve done these things then you’re a liar, thief, blasphemer and adulterer-at-heart; that’s how seriously God takes sin. He is Holy (perfectly good/righteous and separate from sin) which means that H e is perfect in justice - and if He were to judge you by the moral law (we’ve already looked at 4 commandments) would you be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? The answer is hell - the wrath of God upon you for your sin. Is that concerning? But fortunately, God’s will is not that you perish. He wants all men everywhere to be saved. So do you know what He did for us guilty sinners? In self-giving mercy, He sent His Son Jesus Christ. He lived the perfect life that we should have lived - tempted at all points and yet He NEVER sinned. Through His life, being in very nature God, He revealed God to men; but we in our hatred condemned Him to death. On that cross as Jesus suffered, He took on the sin of the world and was judged in our place; receiving God’s wrath. You and I broke God’s law, but Jesus paid the fine. God can justly forgive us. On that cross He died, then He was buried, but 3 days later He was raised from the dead - conquering death and Hell and ushering in The Kingdom of God. He then ascended to the right hand of God the Father (where He came from) now Lord of the living and the dead. God has fixed a date when He will judge the world in righteousness. What you need to do is repent (In humility, acknowledge your sin before God and turn to a relationship with Him) and trust ALONE in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross; and God will grant you the gift of the Holy Spirit. Then be baptised. When you place your trust in Jesus - the Lord and Saviour - these things will happen: 1) God will forgive the sins that you have committed; they were paid for by Jesus at the cross. 2) The perfect life that Jesus lived will be credited to you. He will find you holy and blameless on judgement day (and now), as Christ’s righteousness covers you. 3) You receive a place in Christ’s kingdom as an adopted child of God. God becomes your Father. Eternal life isn’t just about living forever, but a personal relationship with God Himself. That life can start now; The Father will reveal Himself to you if you seek Him. 4) God doesn’t just save you from the penalty of your sin (Hell). He can save you from the power of sin itself. Whoever practices sin is a slave of sin; but when you repent and believe the gospel [WHICH HAS BEEN DESCRIBED] the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in you and sanctify you (working in you to further abandon sin and turn to the will of God). When the end of the age comes, and eternity begins, this work will be brought to completion as you are finally freed from the presence of sin. Jesus offers to take away your sin and to give you His righteousness; you must receive it by faith. Choose this day if you will align with the world, or with Jesus and His kingdom - only His is eternal. ROMANS 10:9 - If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved
@@michaal105 Good presentation. It really shows a good way of sharing the gospel and how it applies to people. It is similar to an evangelist on youtube called Ray Comfort from Living Waters, that is good inspiration if that's where you got the idea of this presentation from.
Even with all my questions I have in mind (that I will never stop asking) once I began pursuing Him last year and my sister was kind enough to send me a copy of the KJV Bible, I've been experiencing change little by little in my life, and it's a welcome feeling, welcome change. I adore "The Chosen" (she hipped me to the series, too and sent me the first season) for how relatable it makes everybody, especially Jesus. The ending of the first episode was a Fat Man level bomb drop for me and it drew me in hard. Keep up the good work, Mr. Jenkins! We need this story these days more than ever.

My husband was the one to help me know Jesus too! I was all over the place spiritually, and he gave me a Bible when we were dating and he prayed for me before we started dating. I got saved shortly after reading and learning about John's Gospel and we got married soon after that!
