Actually thinking about picking up BDO SEA after watching this video. My only issue atm with BDO is my ping from New Zealand to the NA servers. It makes PVP impossible against people that're the same gear as me but live in NA. *Question:* Do you have to use a VPN at all times to stay connected to SEA from Aus or can you turn the VPN off once you are connected? I know that I'll need to use a VPN to make a SEA account as it tells me that there is already a version published in my region.. I had this with Taiwan as well when I tried out a free trial for that..
You just use a VPN to make the account, once you've done that the VPN is no longer needed. You can login to the website, download client, proceed to login to servers. Only ever use the VPN the one time to make the account. Sorry this is such a late reply, I hope it helps someone.
Mate, I am your No. 100 sub ! haha...Do you know the exact server location of SEA BDO? I already purchased & downloaded game, want to do some ping test from Syd.
WOW! This is so helpful. I keep test my ping to Singapore all around 170-200 ms, I was like "What the..." Now I know why : Sea-Me-We 3 submarine cable between Perth and Singapore is currently down due to a confirmed cable break. Thank you so much! Hope they can fix it asap :)
At a guess, he wouldnt, he'd just do a video to show how bad it is for a licensed vs a non licensed terrirory with the hope anyone with an IQ would see that something needs to be done, Black Desert Online is a game developed by Pearl Abyss, a Korean company, and licensed for Oceania, North America and part of Europe by Kakao Games Europe B.V.
