This is really cool! I'm currently halfway through my chemo and I'm hoping to be cancer-free by this Christmas. Thank you for sharing your hair loss to glamour hair growth, it was so good to know how long it was going to take for me to get my hair back to normal..... mine started to grow back I’d say about a couple of weeks after I stopped chemo treatment in March, so it’s only been two months for me and it’s still really short I can’t wait for my first hair cut 😊

I'm almost a year (11 months) post chemo, but I keep feeling like my hair should be longer and the growth process is taking forever. I am 2 mo post chemo and this video has made me so excited to see the different stages of my hair growing back. I was starting to feel self conscious of the over grown pixie look but after seeing how you didn’t trim the back of your neck, now I have more confidence that mine looks ok too. And wow 15 months isn’t a bad amount of time to wait for normal hair again. I can handle that! Thank you for posting this.

Thanks for sharing this! I'm glad you mentioned the peach fuzz on your face, too, because I had that and I really couldn't remember it being like that before. I'm currently at the 5 month, pixy hairstyle phase and my hair looks exactly like yours in those photos! The back appears to have waves and the front/sides looks straight. I'm impatient but excited about the process, and also can't wait to braid again!

Wow. Is all!!! Girl, I'm so hopeful that I won't have to revisit chemo. My first round of treatments ended last week with me shaving my head after week 2 as well. I was losing globs of hair in the shower, so.... yea, why prolong the inevitable. I'm praying every day for good scans and success from my treatments. Going through chemo and radiation once is plenty enough for me... God bless, and thanks for your video! It's gonna help me cope with the awkward regrowth

I can relate to every thing you said in this video - the lashes being weird and falling out some times, the pin straight top half hair and the very curly and frizzy bottom half :’) It’s a crazy coincidence that if my math is right we ended chemo around the same time because my hair right now looks exactly like yours on the last picture before your recent cut! Btw. you hair looks amazing after the cut, it seems so healthy. Maybe I should go and cut mine too to get rid of those frizzy chemo curls hahah

Awesome video! I went through your same experience, curly hair and all (my bald head was soooo painful I had to use an 'oncology' cream on my head. It was cool and refreshing, smelled like cucumbers). I really would have loved to keep the curly hair since I had always had stick straight hair. But, oh well. And btw, I am 82 years old now and so happy to have a full head of silver hair, no more dye for me! And I'm so glad the chemo and radiation worked - so far, I am cancer-free!!

Hey Lauren, am going through the same phase, recovering from transplant, I so so miss my hair. Post transplant, like after four months I had shaved my peach fuzz to have a thick and strong growth. Now I am in my third month of growing. Can’t wait to feel my hair slide through my fingers again 😊. Really happy to see your progress and much love to you ❤

Thank you for this video 🥰, very helpful as your journey is very simelar to mine, but I am only 1 month post chemo and would like all my hair back yesterday! I shaved off the first baby floof that came after shifting from Ec90 to Taxol, and now a more stiff hair is comeing out. Eyebrows gone after chemo, and yes, that long facial hair is a thing 🥴 I have not lost my lashes, but they are super short and has a very light colour, so they don’t show. I am going to a confirmation in the beginning of May, and I can only hope I have as much hair as you did 5 months post. And hopefully i can have some of those lovely curls too 🤩

I am so proud of you what a strong young woman you are. Not sure I could of handled all that. I cut my hair really short as I had a bad haircut years ago. The jerk I was with constantly told me I was being spiteful and how ugly it was. I finally said one day" What if I had cancer and it all fell out, you would want to not be with me because Its ugly? I got rid of him. You are beautiful . I still got my short hair but am thinking of finally growimg it back out. Thank you fot sharing. Glad you are doing well. Keep on keepimg on

I just completed my chemo treatments this past Saturday morning, and your detailed timeline of your hair regrowth really gives me a great possible timeline of what to expect regrowing my own hair again. Wow, this is exactly the same as my hair regrowth. My chemo ended Nov 2019 but I haven’t even gotten a trim yet. I really want to just be able to put my hair in a ponytail. I’m tired of having my hair in my face and eyes. Thanks for posting your story.
