Pokémon has been my prime hyper-fixation since Burger King released 151 toys back in 1999 (have never eaten so many burgers prior or since). The only thing in this collection I even remotely covet, is the pokeball lip mask. You are 100% correct, they should have had way more accessories/non makeup items. This is giving Makeup Revolution, but with a price hike. I hope they do have a future second attempt (with a different region and vibe), but this time include more collectable items. I'd cave for a really good mirror. 🤞🏻

No one else I trust more with makeup reviews!❤ I almost skipped out on the glosses too, so I'm so glad to know they are really nice. I haven't been the biggest fan of Colourpop's glosses. Also, I too believe in Raichu supremacy.😌✨ I would have loved it if they included him on the blush palette!
It seems to be a running theme that ColourPop doesn’t use their best formula in collabs, and it always makes me wonder if they, or the IP owner, have deciding rights on formula. I could totally see companies like Disney wanting a cheaper formula to maximise profits, but maybe it’s actually ColourPop?
I know you said it’s super dry, but the orange red combo looks so good on you. The lip balm and lip mask packaging look really cute, I think I’d get a lip balm in the future
Love how Theresa has the patience of a toddler. The packaging of the Pokémon is too adorable I can’t handle the nostalgia overload that has become my make-up collection(my husband laughs because I needed two of the lip balms one to use and one for the footlocker that contains the makeup I plan to be buried with) so your no more off in your thinking then me. Your gonna have a great time and it’s adorable. Wasn’t that big of a fan of the blush really sheer
It's a small thing, but I LOVE the names of everything, most of them are moves, the stones for the eeveelutions, Pallet Town for the palette. Love it. They need to bring out lashes or a mascara called Babydoll Eyes.

The hunny pot lip mask from Colourpop reminds me of the Kissu formula. I can appreciate different formulas for different needs. For instance, i prefer a more sticky formula at night so it will stay on all night. I prefer the lighter formulas (Laneige) to use on top of other lip products to add shine or to hydrate my lips before applying makeup.
Colourpop just restocked the pokemon collection and I've been looking through some reviews to since I'm interested in the super shock shadows, and I saw fox does makeup mention she was super disappointed in them and they were dry & not like the typical super shock shadows. Out of like 10 videos where people swatched and then talked about the "amazing" payoff, you're the only other one who talked about the quality! Thank you!!!

So happy you got the full collection! I was desperate to get the lip mask but my card was being stupid. So by the time I checked out, it was gone. My heart was broken! It’s my 40th birthday week and I’m never growing up. Having a Poké ball as my lip balm is my dream lol!
Not gonna lie, I am one of those millenials activated by the nostalgia on this one. I nearly bought the pokeball lip mask, the purple cream blush, and the palette, but I don't like their eyeshadow formula, I don't like purple blush on me, and I have a lip mask that I love and that works for me. But we are a pokemon household, so the temptation was real.
I was so torn between this collection and the Wicked Widow Crow collection for my birthday gift to myself. Def doing the Crow since all these pokemon ones are mediocre

THANK YOU for your honesty regarding the SS shadows!! I’ve felt their quality has declined gradually over the years. The ones I own now either get that weird flakey/crunchy texture on the lid, or turn into a weird hard-pan/crumbly mess in their containers. They need to go back to their prime formulation because they used to be my daily go-to. I already regret ordering bulbasaur, and it hasn’t even come yet.
Agree, I’ve had some issues with the super shocks of the past few years. I’ve also wondered if it was a packaging issue as well, because I remember one duo I ordered where one shadow was perfect and the other was already dried out, like the lid wasn’t on correctly. I do wonder if that could be the issue because I have old super shocks (probably older than I should still own tbh lol) that are still good, and others that dried out after like…6 months. I’m super sad because I’m a huuuge Pokemon girl and I was most excited about the super shocks. 😭 But I hate that it’s so hit or miss with that formula.
I'm so upset I missed out on the lip mask. I love Colourpop lip masks. I haven't found one yet that wasn't amazing. Definitely rate Colourpop over Laneige masks. Interesting how different people are having such different experiences with the pallet and super shock shadows.
This is when I really wish Colourpop was in the UK already. I just want the gloss and lip mask and it ain't worth paying shipping. Why use our spelling and not come to our shores?! x
I think the ph things actually are a wee bit different. One is pink pink, one orange pink and one purple pink. They all end up pink but have a subtle undertone difference.

So sad the super shocks weren’t great quality. Those were the things I was most excited for because I adore the first gen starter Pokémon because nostalgia. I’m happy that I waited for your review before I bought anything from the collection. But lol the way I screamed “Let’s Go!!!!!!” When you said Raichu is better than Pikachu because Raichu is my favorite Pokemon 🤣💛🧡🤎🖤
I'm so glad I watched this before buying anything!! Usually, their SS eyeshadows redeem themselves from the pallette, so I was planning on grabbing them. I wonder why they had to compromise quality so much this time around >.< Thank you for saving me from all that disappointment!

I love the blushes in this collection too. Some reviewers/ first impressions did not like them saying they were too light and chalky. However, it was not my experience, maybe because I'm a bit more oily/combo skin. I thought the SSS were off too from what was advertised, thinking it was me, and maybe my skin texture might just be me. Last, I got the palette, and those weird glitter shadows are not for me. I suppose I can swap out those shades with other CP palettes.
The palette makes sense. Each gym, in which city it resides, and elemental type, AND it looks like it is in order - water gym first, etc etc. I'm just hoping the quality is good enough though, but eh
re: the palette I think the rainbow matches Pokemon in general I can't see how any other colour story would be chosen there's lots of types represented in the columns (water, grass, psychic/ghost, fairy/normal, fire, electric) also I kind of expected that review of the palette, oh well, but I bought it anyway bc Pokemon and makeup are my everything haha your supershocks sound like they're somehow dried out??
What nail polish are you wearing!?!! I didn’t see in description box (maybe I skimmed). I wanted to get the super shocks for the cute packaging. However, I have singles from Menagerie so I couldn’t justify getting similar colors. I do love the peachy color on you!

I was so excited for this launch and bought a bunch but I always have an issue with their site (is it me? Maybe, but it wasn’t a one time thing) and it took them days to “fix” my issue which was to cancel the whole order and now most of it is sold out 😭 so I guess I get to wait for relaunch
There's a Korean brand called TirTir that makes a cushion foundation in a red compact. It's the latest viral thing. It's supposed to give you good coverage and glass skin. When you get the time please let us know if works in the humidity. I'm not falling for all the hype again until I hear how it worked out for you. Not that you need it because your makeup is perfection.
I wonder if those super shocks didn’t properly seal, maybe you got a bad batch? Now I need to watch some more reviews cause I was super excited for the Bulbasaur one.
I feel so sad not a single product was themed around MewTwo... okay the purple cream blush had him, but he had to share the stage with other Pokémons I give no crap about which are ALSO not able to use hypnosis, what the hell??? Just because they are purple doesn't mean they share the same power, only TWO of those featured Pokémons could hypnotize! Also why the lippies weren't actually metallic lipsticks? T.T Dammit, I don't need colorless greasy vaseline like balms infused with glitter!!!!
Still hopeful that this pokemon palette is better than the shit one I ordered from Boxlunch. The shades were pressed so hard and was probably one of the worst formulas I've ever tried and it was still around 18 for it. It made me so mad cuz it was so cute that I decluttered it because looking at it would just enrage me.
“palette town” because the towns in Kanto are named after colors (Pewter, Viridian, Cerulean…) but I feel like they should have trimmed this palette down and just done the town names and made colors match better and also use a better formula 🥺 i looooove pokemon but this is underwhelming it’s giving claire’s kids makeup palette
