I assume your game may be default set to auto alt attack mode. It’s something in your settings that you have to go and enable! Googling it should tell you how to put it to manual!

Can you do another birth to death but with carnivores like carno rapter cera or dilo that would be amazing

Those are hard to do, mostly because people rarely nest with carnivores.. but I'm always on the look out for carnivores eggs!
