At this point, they just should give R3 scouting and ADS, and place it at like 7.0+. Because right now you have all that speed and you can't do much with it... 5.7 Leopard is a much better vehicle in every way (only slower road). Very versatile. What do you guys think?

Remember when this was at its lowest BR it was a MONSTER I hated this thing it was tiny it hid well in places thatyou could over look where it was and then BOOM getting hit side shot while on a cap because you didnt see this pizza wagon with a 20mm guns on its roof.

Its a bug when you play ground after you play naval. For some reason it makes ground x-ray messages to show naval x-ray messages considering ground x-ray messages are in all caps while naval have a correct capitalization. And Dollar is like the only War Thunder CC that plays naval, so yeah.

this thing is still pretty good, tbh being at 6.0 just means that now its job is to hunt all the paper tanks that start showing up around that BR. PT-76 comes to mind as well as the occasional BMP-1. M18 and M36 don't stand a chance either.

then you would have people in the r3 and Leo AA running around making bank off disabling scouting and destroying the enemy team lol I like the scouting idea just they need to make it so that the r3 and Leo AA can not hurt tanks so its more encouraged to be used as a scout AA and not a tank destroyer AA with scout abilities.

@@ReallyBillyBoggs I do understand what you mean by the Leo AA being a little too OP if they added scouting to it. But we see that the R3 really struggles to get tank kills from much other than light tanks. I think it would be fair for Gaijin to add scouting to SPAAs with cannons less than 30mm. That would help most of the SPAAs that can’t really be used for much other than AA, unlike some of the later SPAAs or larger cannon SPAAs.

honestly r3 is now borderline useless. why on earth did someone put r3 in br over leo 40/70 idk. leo is just much more better, if you are gonna make r3 higher than leo just make it 7.0 or 7.3 so it have at least some soft targets so it wont be that much useless. because tbf, its not the best aa, upgrade it a bit, and its gonna be just fine at this br, on low br it was too good only because players were not that good and other tanks were sluggish

Hm 7.0/.3/.7 would be a good spot if given such ammunition & besides in other modes HE-VT shells can be found as low as as 1.7 yet somehow for some the idea of such shells at say 7.0 in other modes is taboo. Solution is simple just decrese the BR to 3.7-4.3 again but remove all AP belt then just gjve the only HE belt so it can more uselfull killing aircraft and very very weak open top.

R3 and PUMA are victims of Gaijin's lack of balancing experience, they will probably raise R3 to a higher BR, but obviously they won't leave it fully stabilized nor add scout mechanic

G'day DOLLAplays, Hm I see your Leopard 40/70 GF video & raise you the Albatros class Corvette F-543 & Freccia class Motoconvertibili P-493 / P-494 for the NF side of the Breda 40 mm/70 autocannon & in that mode they're for latter two deadlier with HE-VT shells (plus an odd early OTO 76 for the former & Nettuno AShM for one of the latter).

Yeag Dollar, use WZ305 with the perfect 8.0 lineup for China if you like a slow fire rate, Proxy SPAA. 59/69 and ZBD86 complete the line-up (M41D is a trash).

Guess what does more damage. A German 20mm Pzgr. 40 APCR round or a post-war 20mm APCR round? I swear the 20mm Pzgr. 40 deals more damage than some higher caliber solid shot rounds. There's just no consistency in the game. At all.

The r3 needs its stabilizer back! It used to have full stab and it was nerfed to death. It needs to get scouting, apds and the stabilizer back, and move it to 7.0

the R3 T20, when you use the HVAP belt, has an INSANE Velocity on them! do not aim too far ahead of planes unless they are REALLY far out!

At the beginning of the week i was having a ball with tanks, getting 3 kills a match wich i rare for me, then it all crashed. Most matches no tank kills, but instead i made a way better AA. Having a blast with the SUB-I-II, you should try it Dollar.

I'd give it spotting and the apds belt if it actually had one. It would need bumping up to compensate no doubt, but I can see it being a strong vehicle at higher BRs with that. Hell I bring the Fox and Warrior to top tier and sure, the t90s and whatnot are dangerous but very killable if I catch them on the side.

To be honest i think that a chronological accurate tier line would be better, and also no limitation of ammo, like, give firefly his APDS. I know that if it gets too realistic it may get unbalanced, but it's already unbalanced, and I am curious about how it would be.

I refuse to believe that, with over a decade of experience managing this game, they are still this inept at introducing vehicles at their correct br. Gaijin always has its own little agenda, you can be damn sure it’s not with the player’s best interest in mind.
