My cocatail is cuddle buddy ..love to get hugging and will sit in my lap for hours..They are so much connected with humans, understand emotion and love us very much.

My cocktail refuses to leave the cage no matter we we try temp him with. The only thing we have succeeded in doing I'd kisses from him inside the cage and us outside.

Please don't to that!! They are birds...Feathers are there Identity, Let them fly mam. Try to tame them without cutting there feathers. I have also bought a pair of cocktail. Only in 10 day they becomes familiar with me. I feed them with my hands. They also started to come on my hand. You are not going to believe me but from last 2 days I let them out from their cage. In starting they got scared but at the 2nd day they are bit comfortable in the room. I used berch to get them back in the cage and they just come easily in the cage. Please talk to them sweetly, try to feed them with your hands until they gets familiar to your hands. After some days they will started to come on your hand and you can let them out from the cage but on your own risk seriously😂...

Well it depends on how old is your bird . But I think you should not cut your cockatail features because it will make your cockatail more afraid of human, thats my opinion

Clipping your cockatiel's feathers isn't the best way to tame him. In fact, it can damage his trust and make him feel frustrated. There are many positive reinforcement techniques that can help you build a bond with your feathered friend. Here are a few ideas: Spend time near his cage talking softly and offering millet or treats through the bars. Let him come to you at his own pace. Don't force him to interact. Offer target training with a stick and treats to build trust and get him comfortable with your hand. Provide a safe and enriching environment with plenty of toys and perches to explore.
