You did not report the huge prizes for Philippines gold medalists… 2 gold medals. Yulo will get 30 Million cash fr the national government, local government and PH Olympic Committee. He will also get brand new house and lot worth 6 Million pesos. He will also get a 3 bedroom luxury condo worth 31 Million pesos. Total is 67 Million pesos or US$1.1 Million, conservative estimate bec it will increase soon.
Yeah, they reported Malaysia and Indonesia but overlooked the Philippines? How? I'm baffled because the Philippines is one of the most generous when it comes to Olympic rewards. It rewards not only based on the medal category that an Athlete won but it's multiplied based on the number of medals won i.e. $200,000 (depending on Forex) reward for Gold X the number of medals, apart from the local government and private institution rewards.
There is a RU-vid poster who has documented that China has high financial incentives for winning gold and they carefully chose which sports are likely to win and focus on those. They have also given money to parents if their child wins gold medal and take away if their child loses. Source: #lei’s real talk
The Olympics? Have not watched that in decades. Here in the U.S. NBC runs nothing but commercials, and sappy heart warming stories of the athletes, tiresome highlight reels, and sports announcers talking over the competition and then more commercials. I forgot to mention that they only cover American athletes and now all the athletes from around the World.
