Was in 🇰🇪 July 2021, beautiful safe country, beautiful kind people who care about tourists and animals, thank you for 🇰🇪 vids, I feel like I’m back there
It’s not often that I feel emotionally moved by a travel video- but there’s something about the way you capture everything around you… I feel like I absolutely must make my way to Kenya. Absolutely loving your videos as a new subscriber! You’re knowledgable, kind, and calm, and you never seem to prioritize “getting the shot” over respecting the people around you. Also- thank you for showing kindness to those kids at the rest stop. They absolutely lit up when you greeted them!
Alot of greetings from nanyuki...my second hometown for many years. Maasai mara is soo beautiful. The whole country is wonderful and his people are very kind and warmhearted. Wish u a gd time in kenya
I was surprised to see how white people have peacefully settled in Nanyuki when I visited the town. It has a lot of potential to even rival Nakuru if the local government steps up.
Thank you for the wonderful report. I live in Tokyo and visited Maasai Mara 16 years ago. I am relieved that nature and animals look the same as they did at that time. I look forward to your wonderful trip, video and reports.
Thanks, Jason, for your great first day video of the Maasai Mara. Kenya was the first country in Africa that I visited, Your video brings back sweet memories of my first sighting of the Great Rift Valley, Initially, our guide had to point our sightings of giraffes because they were so perfectly camouflaged in the landscape. Your video capture of the African wildlife is so sharp. Are you still using your M50 on a gimbal with a 15-45 lens? Or are you using a zoom lens on this safari? Either way, I’m looking forward to the next episode. Best, Sylvia
Brought back some great memories for me too. Ah those bumpy roads and the thrill of seeing the wildlife so close. Just fabulous. You did see a lot on your first afternoon. Can highly recommend you visit Amboseli and Mombasa beach area. One thing I still do today from my trip to Kenya is to have a sliver of stick cinnamon in my black tea. Many thanks once again for all your videos. Cheers from Australia
Loving this trip in Africa!! The scenery of the safari is breathtaking the children so polite and friendly and as always you being so down to earth and kind. 👍
I jhave enjoyed following your vlogs over past few years, Jason. I'm also a travel addict - but mainly wildlife focussed. Great to see you finally heading into my favoutite place on Earth -sub-saharan Africa. (If you want a recommendation - continue into Uganda for the chimpanzees at Kibale Nationla Park - oh my gosh - , and then the gorillas in either Uganda or Rwanda (we did gorilla trip in Rwanda). You are so close by....
Hi Jason ..I have meticulously observed one thing in your vlogs..you tend to like empty alone places with not much visitors...take for example your visit to Cappadocia where you loved vlogging in a solitary environment...same goes for your visit to Egypt ...as well as your visit to Citadel in Amman where you were all alone...then your visit to Rome where you were all alone...I think you thrive more in lonesome places... nothing wrong in it but just an observation...I like you as a person...cool and calm
Beautiful country and beautiful people! Really enjoying watching this adventure! It's nice they let Jason sit in the front seat during the safari. Looks like the zebras are in mating season. Happy Valentine's Day!
Hi Jason nice to see more updates from your side …having lived in Kenya 🇰🇪 I didn’t get an opportunity to visit Masai Mara which is iconic ..I would definitely visit one day ..hope to see more updates..Nairobi is a very fast moving city 🌆 and upcoming in terms of infrastructure as well ..take care and be safe ..lots of greetings from London here it’s been raining and miserable.
Hi Jason, I came across your safari vid by chance. It's really well done and captured the essence of what a quintessential safari ought to look like. I was also struck by the beauty of Kenya that you showed in your other videos. The locals seemed so friendly and the poverty that's so often portrayed in the media was not so apparent. Thank you for showing those positive attributes of Kenya.
Hey JASON h r u its me From Bangladesh. When I feel sad ur vlog really made me cheerful. Basically Sylhet and Joypurhut vlog was amazing. Pls do keep Bangladesh in your mind.
Hi, I have watched your video. It is a nice and informative video. As a youtuber your thumbnail is not much good(a good thumbnail will brings you more views). That's the reason may be your video becomes low reach.i can do a stunning youtube thumbnails for you Contact if you needed😊
Africans, reject & depot this foreign Vloggers who come to your country to bait your gullible insecurities. They are playing on your desire for validation so that they can grow their youtube channel.
I really enjoy your travel videos. Thank you for making such a nice vlogs around the world. Unfortunately I didn’t see my beautiful country in your list please visit SRI LANKA. And make nice vlogs around my country. We badly need foreigners in our country. Thank you Jason
Thanks. Sri Lanka is one of the countries that I know I will probably fall in love with. I just haven’t gotten round to it. I very nearly went in 2019, but I opted for the Philippines at the last minute. I’m sure I’ll make it there eventually.
The pandemic has provided for so many unnecessary issues or at least exacerbated existing ones; It’s interesting from an anthropological standpoint. In bed with economics more so than anthropology. Nevertheless the story line of your travels (do subscribe to other channels) presents such a wanderlust romanticism; a tourist. The terror of the current surroundings have kept me grounded - thank you for keeping me connected.
Those kids were not going to the Mara they were going to Naivasha along the old Escarpment road, you also passed the church built by Italien prisoners of war. Its funny how they always stop at the curio shops, the drivers get a cut if you buy any of their overpriced wares. Always best to let an African buy anything you need, they will only have to pay half the price.
Thank you for wonderful video! It is really interesting & motivating for travel. Cannot wait when all of us start easily travel again! love it so much xx
Brazy that most Kenyans have lived in this country all their lives and have never been to places like The Maasai Mara. I've been here for 24 and I've never been, hopefully we do that soon In Sha Allah.
It would be fun if those children see your video of them some day. Fabulous to see the animals so free and powerful. I love hippos, giraffes, and all of them. People looked nice and friendly. Have super travels. Hope you get a group to go to Argentina so you can film there.
We saw lions every 5 minutes on our drive. At first we were so excited but after seeing so many of them we wanted to see something else. It would have been nice to see leopards or cheetahs.
The trip was worth its weight in gold. It is sad that so few people from the rest of the world will ever get to see these animals in their natural environment.
