What an honor it was to be on the Tom Rowland podcast. For those of you that don’t know Tom has been a drift boat captain, flats guide out of Key West, cohost and creator of Saltwater experience and more recently podcast host. Tom did some serious sleuthing before filming this podcast enabling him to ask us a great deal of detailed questions such as…why did we make the transition from charter fishing to RU-vid? How were we able to achieve such a high level of athletics? What was it like to be a D1 athlete and how did that help us in our fishing careers? What is it like battling incurable, life threatening diseases? What are our plans for the future?
We want to thank Tom Rowland for taking the time to get to know us and putting together such a comprehensive podcast. Thank you Tom for allowing us to also post this episode to our RU-vid channel!

You women are such an inspiration to us all! Truly! I started fishing as a retiree and found your channel to have lots of useful, actionable advice and information. I think I've watched almost half of your videos already. You're at 102k on RU-vid today and I hope to see you at 500k soon. Amanda and Emily, my daughter went through many months of IVIG infusions and hearing your story is very uplifting. You both are fantastic role models for young girls and even more so to those that deal with adversity. You have demonstrated how a person can overcome the problems in your life and pursue your dreams. Thank you for sharing.

Wow!!! I actually had to stop the video and recollect myself. Never could have guessed you girls had/have to deal with just adversity with health issues. You both look to be the epitome of perfect health. You are perfect examples of working for what you want in life! I'm extremely impressed. Role models for our youth is what we need these days more than ever...and you girls are Excellent Role Models! Very Proud of you and ( I even took a moment to pray for you both) .... I generally avoid RU-vid videos that run as long as this one did, but it was absolutely fascinating. Gale Force Twins as an entity is doing a lot for sportfishing as well as other aspects of your lives. I've been watching Tom's Saltwater Experience for many years and I learned so much more about him than I ever did from his show. What I learned about the two of you will add so much appreciation for the videos yet to come. Tom did a great job with the interview. I developed my love for offshore fishing back in the 60's when my father was stationed in Key West, Florida for three years. I was in the Boy Scouts and we camped near the blue hole on Big Pine Key. Your videos of those two places in particular have taken me back to some wonderful childhood years. Thanks!

This is the video/information my young 17-year-old and 16 year old nephews will watch tomorrow! I’ve been a slacker lately giving blood/plasma. I’m going tomorrow and will continue to give! You two women are true Americans working through the cloudy world of academia, propaganda and persuasion. Despite all of those odds you two have found what works best for you in your pursuit of happiness while maintaining optimism, capitalism and teaching fellow Americans how to become entrepreneurs. I made the right decision fighting for our freedom🇺🇸 I will continue to give plasma in your behalf. Ladies, I'm so impressed with this interview. This was very interesting and learning your journey is truly amazing. I use to watch Tom's fishing show on TV but don't seem to see them on cable anymore. I always said that I'm not going to watch a podcast but I'm very surprised how much I liked it. With that being said, I think you both are coming upon stardom very soon. I've watched many of your informational videos and loved them all. I'm not sure how many videos you have on RU-vid but I will watch the rest on them. I want to bring my wife fishing on your boat. I think she would have a blast. I want to buy my own boat but would love for her to like fish and you guys could make it fun. You all mentioned that you have acid reflux. I have it too. I take OTC called Famotidine 20 mg tabs from Walmart. It's like $4.97 for 100 tabs. It helps me a lot and just an idea for you all. I learned a lot about blood plasma. I will start to give blood on a regular basis in honor of you ladies. Hope you use your platform to help people understand how important the blood plasma is to boost your immune system. Stay safe!!

1 married an identical twin both beautiful, both smart. One a Self employed CPA, the other an MD. Our marriage hasn’t lasted very long. From 6/2/63 until now. We have unidentical twin grand daughters. Both smart, home schooled by my Daughter, almost straight A’s, one in Nursing school, the other in education. Both drop dead gorgeous. Twins are very special. Full of love for each other. Keep going ladies. Have a wonderful, successful life. Your 41 Regulator was probably built a few miles away in the next town of Edenton. The best of the center consoles. I owned a 24 Albemarle, also made in Edenton NC. Fishing and golfing days are over. I just watch you two on You Tube and relive memories. Love your show. JoeB

I got banned on Facebook and a couple other social media apps and it was the best thing that could have ever happened. I now have 3 accounts and I’ve become a troll. No, just kidding. That totally wasn’t what I was going to say when I started typing. When FB banned everyone for their political or other beliefs, it was the best thing ever. I now focus on fun, fishing and doing stuff I never do. I focus on life now. Focus on moving ahead. It’s allowed me major freedom not worrying about my phone. Sure, I got another social media account but do not log in at all. I didn’t even install the apps and don’t honestly care about social media.

My best friend and i went fishing in the keys with Tom Roland years ago when he was first starting out fishing ,,,and did multiple types of fishing ...with him bone fish & permit....then small reef fish on patch area's ...all during a crazy hurricane as it passed by and looped around off in the Atlantic....mike and i wondered why conditions where so strange...during our trip with tom....he was a great guy and a well honed fishermen and upcoming guide....Bruce Phelps & my friend Mike O'hara...

Hi, I've watched a bunch of your video's and found them fun and informative. Watching this video though you just said somthing that really hit home. About your charters being family friendly I just took my son out on a charter where the captain and mate where swearing there heads off. My sons 15 so i thought suck it up. Then they started a bunch of racist comments. Thats not the sortof day i want to spendwith my kids. Keep it family oriented. Well said..

Was just wondering if you have to pay for the plasma or can it be donated to you by people. I have donated regularly since I had Colorectal Cancer in 2004 and had to be given blood then. I usually donate a double red each time. If possible I would donate to you or in your name if it will help you in anyway. I’m sure some other subscribers would do the same if they could.
