This team will win the title again. They may not go undefeated but they will be 2025 champs with no injuries. The second unit is deep which many teams don't have.
Potentially a scary good team. Watch out for Maddy. She won't get a ton of minutes, but watch her highlights- her game is strikingly similar to one Dawn Staley. Joyce is the wildcard- a true positionless player who will be an amazingly difficult matchup. Chloe has reportedly added three point range to her already versatile game. Future is bright! Keep up the great work Quita!
Love the channel. Fair, informative and factual, no click bait titles that flat out aren’t true nor do you have an agenda or put a spin on your reporting that is troll like. Appreciate factual reporting and your professional integrity! Keep it up!
SC has a lot of bigs. With SC history, I have high expectations. This will be so exciting to watch. Interested how these newbies will jell with the other players and who will actually be the starters. Quita just want to thank you for putting out great content. It’s hard to find these days. Also thank you for all the coverage for the WNBA. 🌺🌺🌺
I love to hear you articulate!!! You are a very intelligent woman!!!! I love Dawn!!!! She is a different breed. Dawn’s ability to adapt in life makes her great!!! She loves and listens to her players and those young women know that. ❤
Dear South Carolina Women's College Basketball Team, This year, it's going to be super hard to win. You are now the taget, all teams have been training for you. Enjoy the year!! Pay no attention to the noise and nonsense!!!! GO GameCocks!!
Facts! They have BEEN the target, but this year more so bc the media wants to focus on individual players (like Paige and Juju) or historically good teams that are also gonna be REALLY good (like Notre Dame and UConn)!
@@HonestLeighSpeakingsimilar to last year. Media focused on individual play and record breaking season of Iowa's star player, Clark and focused on Reese at LSU and not much on SC going undefeated.
Good morning, Quita. Thanks for diving into the college game and the brief but thorough overview of SC roster and reminder of tonight's game. You rock!
It's been almost a decade since the Gamecocks didn't have a dominant center to start the season. It will be interesting to see who fills the void left by Cardoso. This team is loaded with power forwards. It will be interesting to watch the SEC with two new teams and some new coaches. Lets Go Gamecocks!
I am a Columbia native, who lives in Idaho. I have been a Lady Gamecock fan pre-Dawn Staley. Man, I pray every day that our Father will work His will for Ashlyn, for the team and for the program. If Ashlyn is unable to play this year it won't be nearly as much fun watching the team play defense. Because on defense Ashlyn made highlight reel plays: blocking shots; and chasing down players and balls that were trying to get away. Since I don't believe in luck, I will wish you and the team mercy and grace during the 24-25 season. God bless. By the way, if you ever get the chance tell Tessa that before she tries it again, she should really practice her flopping.
Hoping the best for them. They have nothing to prove and can just play good basketball but I can see some come for them. As I still can't get over how they didn't get major coverage of the great accomplishment they did last year.
Just when winning every game and the title got boring, now we have new kids coming in to liven up the games. Cant wait to see all the new kids and the sophomore phenoms!!!
The women's game is more popular than the man's game because most of the great men's player are one and done. Last year was the rematches of South Carolina, LSU and Iowa so everyone was anticipating the same players go at in another year. When players stay and build those rivalries, it's more exciting to watch.
Thank you Quita as always. Would love to hear your take on the Kentucky women’s rebuild with Kenny Brooks and his debut in the SEC if you can work that in.
I’m just gonna throw this out there and say that MiLaysia Fulwiley will be the NCAA player of the year!! Love JuJu, Paige and Big 4 but I believe Fulwiley is a star that’s getting better as a defender in the process! Audi Crooks and Iowa State gonna be good too
We rebuilding in Memphis our women 2nd year coach don't nobody wanna play south Carolina is word on Memphis streets we a invite and play them win loose why not penny men north Carolina gonna be different 🤦💯😂😂 M Town ain't dodging no smoke really
Grew up in the same neighborhood as Dawn Staley. As a high schooler, we were happy to have her play with the us (fellas) during pick up games at then Moylan Center (now Hank Gathers Center).
Hi Sister Quita. Thank you very much for this video. I’m a fan of Dawn Staley, and I’m glad South Carolina got their revenge against Iowa! I’m also a fan of LSU because of Angel Reese and Flau’jae Johnson and USC because of legend Cheryl Miller!🙏🏿🌎🙏🏿🌎🙏🏿
Whazzup Quita!! Can you do a breakdown of LSU and USC teams too?? Love your in-depth reporting and analysis on Women’s Basketball college and pro! Be blessed and keep up the good work!!🫶🏿🫡🙌🏿
My Fabulous Ladies will at the very least will make the FINAL FOUR!Im so happy that Women's basketball is back!I can't wait for November 4th to get here and Michigan had better be ready! Be safe my friends peace out and..... Go Gamecocks Go Ride Gamecocks Ride! Hello today from Missouri!
Anything less than contending for a national championship would be a big disappointment for South Carolina. My main thing about this team. I can’t imagine a world where Fulwiley doesn’t start. I think she has top 5 player in the ncaa potential.
Too many experienced players at her position ahead of her. I agree she is the most talented but to keep team chemistry Bree Hall has to start. Poa Poa may be willing to come off the bench but I doubt it. Dawn has a tough decision but Malaysia has 2 more years left to start.
Great video ! I am a new fan. Looking forward to the WNBA draft. I know it's a little early but do you do a prospect ranking for the WNBA draft? Are there any other players besides Raven Johnson and Ashlyn Watkins who are eligible to go pro on the GameCocks? Do you see their game translating to the WNBA?
I think the Chicago Sky ought to offer Dawn Staley a blank check and full autonomy on running the team as they beg and plead with her on their hands and knees to come to Chicago and turn the Sky around and change the culture.😊
Absolutely NOT leave our coach where she rightfully belong at USC.. Stop trying to pull her! I don’t believe she is all about the Benjamin’s ! She is happy 😊 where she is . If Staley wants to coach the WNBA she is a phone call away from getting the job… it’s her call NOT the other way around..
Dawn Staley is a great coach. She has a platform that is influential. People listen to what she says. Why is she not supporting women’s sports? Look into that. Its OK with her that men play in women’s sports.
they're recruiting ability is insane. with all the 5 stars and ace transfers, does Dawn really coach much? She's a great coach, I would hire her over Geno or Kim. I wouldn't doubt they go undefeated for a 3rd season. Final Four on automatic. But I remember the girl talking about the offseason last year. A great coach teaches her players to learn from losses, but when the lesson is a lack of fundamentals, we have to question the coaching. I think Coach Staley is a great coach leading a POWERHOUSE, but I want to see SC just destroy teams with basic fundamental basketball, because I know they can do it.
@@QuitaLovesSports We may see a preview of the 2025 NCAA Women's Championship Game on December 21, 2024 when Southern California plays at Connecticut & on February 16, 2025 when Connecticut plays at South Carolina.
What players are FSU putting around Me' Arah. She went to Florida State so her dad could drive to home games. It will be a big deal seeing Shaquille O'Neal in the audience.
There is a gigantic push for women's Basketball and Football school's. UCONN developed a football program, USC, LSU, Ohio State has a legit women's basketball team. These colleges are seeing dollars and national engagement.
