Jenny it’s ok to be heart broken. When I saw it yesterday I was devastated and it’s not my nursery. As plant moms and gardeners, we put in a lot of work for our plant babies.

The silver lining in all this is seeing all the support you have. Rather it's volunteers or just thoughts, prayers, and posotive comments. You all have a whole community rooting for you. Let's keep bragging and spreading the word of this gem of a nursery! We can't wait to visit again and bring along some friends with us to shop and experience Creekside Nursery!

Jenny, just because one's house is still standing and nobody was seriously hurt or worse, doesn't mean it can't be devastating. That's your livelihood. Not to mention the years of blood, sweat and tears in building your property and business up. You should be upset. That's only normal. Will continue to keep everyone in my prayers.

Yesterday when I saw what had happened, I started praying. The song that kept coming to my mind was the doxology. “Praise God from whom all blessings flow…”. It made me stop literally and think what???? And then I realized that we needed to see the blessings in this event. So that’s how I prayed. And clearly you saw that in the staff, family and friends that came to help you deal with the catastrophe. In seeing the aftermath, I am so thankful for the blessing of God manifested to you. I think about all of the times you have said “plants are resilient “. And wow, isn’t that the truth? Cant wait to see you all in person and rejoice with the effects of His blessings!

Such heartbreak for a family/company that work so hard to make their customers happy. As a meteorologist, I fear rain events (extreme flooding, specifically) like this are becoming more common in today’s climate and like your last flooding video mentioned (within the past year) we all have to work alongside Mother Nature and adapt as needed as she resets her boundaries. Dear Creekside Family, Our hearts broke as we watched the devastation the storm had inflicted upon your nursery. Over the years, we have watched as you grew and lovingly tended to your beautiful gardens. After observing the amount of labour and sweat that you faithfully put into making your landscape extraordinarily beautiful, the flood must have been a terrible blow. Knowing your resilience, however, I am sure it will not be long before everything is set anew. Since you, apparently, live on a floodplain, perhaps would it help to lift all your potted plants off the ground?

My heart broke for you watching this. What we know as God loving people is that this is a beginning to a new, better story- one that he had planned for you that you didnt know about. May this season pass and you and your loving family be blessed beyond measure.

Jenny, omgosh!!😮 I know how devastating it can be to lose a tree of that size and age, but you all did a fantastic job of saving what was around it!!! Laura's garden seemed to help save that area, too. That shows what plants can do to help retain land in moments like this. The drainage you all have been working on is making a difference!!!!❤ I keep tearing 😢 up as you are. I admire what you have accomplished in all your business years, so my heart ❤️ is with you all!!! Omgosh the tree was a branch😮, lucky!! Lol, Jackson, the shrub hero😅😅😅!! I ❤️ it!! He saved some shrubs. What an awesome guy❤❤❤!!! Suggestion, coming from an excavators wife, crushed granite with the fines in it and compacted would help drastically with the washing away of rocks. It'll save you money, time, and clogging of the creek. Fabulous job on cleaning up❤❤❤ . You have every right to feel what you are feeling 😢❤. What an amazing team of helpers❤❤❤❤❤❤.

That was a doosie of a storm! I saw hail reports and a tornado warning very close to you all. I'm glad it wasn't worse. It warms my heart to see all the help you had and I'm glad yall are OK. ❤ I'm praying the Lord blesses you and restores double everything that was lost!
