I also had a similar issue with Nvidia drivers on Mint as well, an update bricked it after a few reboots. NixOS, Arch, Fedora, on the other hand, never gave me such issues.
Exactly! Never had any issues with Fedora or Arch (excluding Manjaro obviously). Never tried NixOS for more than one release (but might do soon!). All the issues that I’ve ever had with the Nvidia drivers on Linux were on Ubuntu based distros. Weirdly, not Debian. Ubuntu.
