I did that too.... Only problem I should have checked HP and not that it's a 16 valve 4 cyl. I'm the guy that buys a car for its engine and not the HP. Then I must say that I am still doing it wrong because then I need 5 cyl with 20 valves with 4 joined rings for a logo. Audi Quattro S1 1984/1985 ❤️ Before the 2jz (Toyota Supra) came along this is what terrified most car owners. It was a sleeper, if you didn't do you're homework

Well, he's certainly getting a good workout in "real office" conditions. I'm 74 and I use sim-racing to keep my hand/eye coordination in good shape. 10 laps in a non-motion sim setup has me beginning to sweat; this setup would have me at the hospital in no time! :)

I have to say, although sim racing doesn't really interest me but rather drifting, your sim racing video's from 10+ years ago were really interesting to watch. Your footwork looks nuts. :D

@@oku1317 Thanks, Eli. When I made those videos I was trying to show sim-racers that they could use a real racing technique - heel-and-toe - to make simming more realistic and more fun. As I said above, I use sim-racing to keep my hand/eye coordination in good shape, and coordinating the extra movements involved in heel-and-toe with a manual gearbox makes for a better "workout". Besides that, I get to relive what I used to do for real in F3 back in the 1970s. Ah, the good old days. :)

@ASNAPS From what I've seen high-end sim gear seems to hold its value really well on eBay. I wish it didn't because then I could pick it up on the low.

These are the kind of "Evolution" of the rig video's I love. In the "immediate" society that we live in now a days people forget the reality is many of us started on beginning gear strapped to a desk in many cases. It's an evolution of building your gear and rig over years ... not days or months. I think that journey of building up your rig, gear and immersion is what is so fun about this hobby. Some of these comments? Don't let am get to you man, everyone spends money into anything - whether it be a real car, go karts, music, dancing and sim racing... the thing they all share in common? People with passion and drive to pull stuff off, giving it their 100%, and where money is no object to them. Can't wait to see more videos!

So the Real Questions I want to know are, after the 4 years youve been playing and the money you've spent... 1) Do you feel the equipment has helped you get better at the game's Or has the equipment only added to the immersion of the game's ? 2) From all the equipment you have today, name 2 which has clearly made a difference to you and why ? 3) If you could go back to 2016 with the knowlege you have today, would you still of bought all the equipment you have today ? I dont inclued PC Specs in equipment, its purley ancillary equipment, and as an older gamer, I already have a pridiction of what your answers may be. Im asking as one of many who dont own this kind of eqipment and as you do it would be worth knowing first hand from somebody who does... Kind Regards !

No it will not make you faster. Consistency maybe and definitely more fun. Fun -> Practice -> Consistency and Pace

Equipment can help you gain pace but will not make you outright faster, at least not at the high end. The biggest change you will find is in your consistency and being able to not crash but other than that, it's all you.

Awesome job! I definitely see major improvements with your steering input with each progression. Smoother and less choppy. And I can hear your the improvement with your throttle control as well. One thing I did notice that could use a little work is that you are charging into the corners a little too much causing you to sliding around a bit too much fighting for control while scrubbing off speed. While this helps you close some of the gap into the slower corners but it is also preventing you from getting on the power early causing you to lose any ground you gained back as your opponent to pulls away on the exit.

Mit SimXPerience habe ich ja schon das beste für mich. SFX, D-box usw. sagen mir nicht so zu. Mir gefällt das Konzept des Seatmovers wie bei SimXPerience oder dem 3Motion einfach besser. Finde das Realistischer und es kommen die G Kräfte die der Fahrer spürt besser rüber.😊✌

Can I ask what screens you are using please as my funds ran out by the time I finished and was only able to get cheap 24in monitors 60hz so would love to get some like yours and will my GTX Strix 1080 run them? Been following your channel for sometime but for some reason my subscription has stopped so need to sub again. RU-vid do this alot

That’s a very nice set up man, I’m slightly jealous. I got into sim racing for about two and half years ago now and yeah I hear ya. The costs are insane lol and a rig is never finished it’s just a constant evolution over time. I’m about 17 thousand canadian dollars into my set up.

Im sitting here with my T300 and an Oculus loving it. I cant imagine having a direct drive wheel, good pedals, and a motion platform. Fuck, makes me envious of this guy. I know he worked hard for it. Thats 4 years of investing into something you love. Id say its well worth it. Its also worth trying to get into local kart racing if you have access in your area. Karting is just as fun as racing road cars. You go through the same paces as in any real race. 40-50 years old guys down at my local track that still kart who used to be semi-professional drivers in the early days.

Du bist für mich der Deutsche Digi Prost. 👍 Mach weiter so. Werde mal gespannt was noch bei dir so kommt. Wie einer schon hier in den Kommentaren geschrieben hat,das sfx 100 könnte dir bestimmt noch gefallen. Das Motion sfx100 muss man sich leider selber zusammen werkeln. Aber es gehört mit zu den im Moment besten Motion.
