The U.S. continues to fund Israel's genocide in Gaza, while Cuba, branded a State Sponsor of Terrorism by the U.S., is quietly training hundreds of Palestinian doctors for free.
From Gaza to Cuba tells the story of Murid Abukhater, a Palestinian medical student from Gaza studying at Cuba’s Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM). While his family and friends face the daily onslaught of Israel’s bombing, Murid struggles to focus on his studies. He dreams of returning to Gaza as a doctor to help save lives.

The problem is that most cubans bought the West BS and the miami Money way of live I am latin american and to be Honest most Cubans I meet mentally have sold themselves to the west, they have no dignity they want the Miami way of live period. In that sense the Cuban revolution has lost. Secondly I know there is corruption in the Cuaban system and Cuba is under harsh economic embargo and so on .... .

Not much good with "El Partido" that outlaws free speech, popular elections, independent journalistic reporting, public gatherings for protesting, and open critiques of a corruot regime in power y military force and tryannical rule. I heard that cuba was amazing in handling covid. Even used domestically made vaccine. The level of education there must be amazing too. Community heallthcare structure also very strong for middle low income people.
