The Honest Bunch is an audio-visual podcast that focuses on discussing real millennial and Gen Z issues with no holds barred.
There are 4 main personalities on the show - Nedu, Husband Material, Deity Cole, and Ezinne. The cast members bring their unique individual personalities and wit to the show. Occasionally, a guest is brought on to share opinions on topics tailored to their experiences, interests, or personalities.
At Honest Bunch, we are telling original Nigerian realities from the lens of the youth.
The show is stupendously funny, inconceivably revealing, somewhat shocking, and yet unequivocally informative.

Wow! My eyes are tearing Watching this because me and showkey share a whole lot in common, I was also into boxing football, scavenger (picking Aluminium around lagos) with my friends back in Itire pako Eleja with my friends ( some are still alive today) infact my part crossed with showkey in two movies as we acted together in "Vicious Tunnel" & "Kiss me quick. I Lost over 35 of my childhood friends between 1990 to 1995 ( frustrated into robbery) I thank God I dabled into Babrbing then later Nollywood. Eye don see oh! Many privileged children can never understand what the poor children had to endure. I am the true life "Slum dog millionaire" My life experience have prepared me for so much of what life threw at me. I am just grateful for God's mercy on our lives. I salute you Showkey! Femi Ogedengbe here from California. Reach out when you come this side bro.

I was born and raised in Ajegunle and lived very close to where Daddy Showkey stayed. I saw Daddy Showkey every day from my childhood until today. Baba always comes to Ego Bar on Mission Street, off Orodu Lane. Everything Daddy Showkey has said is confirmed. I have been working on writing a story about our beloved AJ City, which will be introduced to Daddy Showkey himself and everyone involved when the job is done. Best wishes.

Daddy showkey narrated those criminal acts instances with the clear conscience that he wasn't in the know that those instances were indeed a "crime". More reasons why kids who grow up to become hardened criminal continuously lives in denial without a heart of repentance. He wants us to understand that a minor indulging in crime shouldn't be tagged criminals. They are most times a testimony of bad parenting or products of lack in all ramifications. Those kids indulge in those criminal acts since they only want to survive. Funnily, they are still criminals but we all need not ostracize them, but rather let them know the ills of not putting a halt to those little unconscious criminal act while helping them nurture their innate potentials with show of love, care and kind guidance. This is the reason why Daddy showkey can never forget the impact of that Police officer he mentioned.

Our quest for western education validation has robbed most kids of their ingenuity. Daddy Showkey had "F9 Parallel" in class but his articulation and memorization of happenings around him and his ability to remember dates, time and happenings shows that he's a genus.... big ups senior man, been a fan since

This is one of the most outstanding, if not the BEST "The Honest Bunch," episodes. I'm a silent but ardent social listener who crawls through social media but does not make comments. The content of this episode has made me break that code - for the very first time. Firstly, I wish to commend the team for the quality of guests on your podcasts, the research that goes into every episode, and the quality of conversations. I'm even more awed by the personality of Daddy Showkey - his life journey, his perspectives. philosophy and his lingo!!! His Street Credibility is so down-to-earth, authentic, and fresh. The current and potential value and impact of his journey and this episode is in a zillion-fold as it is time-less. Great work, guys and gals!!!❤🎉

The Ajegunle stigma. I experienced this first hand. When i used to go to The British Council, those of us from Ajegunle were given a separate place to sit. As a kid, I'm glad, to have always met Daddy Showkey many times on my way to choir practice and also watch him perform for us then. Man loves kids a lot. We used to shout "show key, show key" excitedly and follow him whenever we see him.🤣🤣 and baba no dey pursue us. He was always relating with us very well.
