Very interesting video Jane, what a difference a day makes. I went down to St Chad's to see the high tide and I was surprised to see the no access signs weren't put up until I walked towards Waterloo Road where they were up. Someone must have taken them down when they shouldn't. I saw a woman refuse to get off the sea wall when asked to by a beach petrol lady one Saturday. Another day when the sea was almost as rough as Thursday I saw a couple with a baby in a buggy and dog dodging the waves near the RNLI. Some people don't realize how dangerous high tide can be. But high tide is wonderful to watch. Xxx

Hi jane: thanks for another great vlog, today here was cooler and windy, and tiny bit of rain, a big contrast from yesterday, hopefully the warm weather will return 😊
I live on Teesside, and we have had only 15 days of what I would call heatwave weather. (up to now) . The other days are nothing much to write home about. When I was a kid, it used to be called flaming June. But the first 2 weeks of June. I had to wear my coat I am old enough to remember summer 76, where we had 3 months of heat wave weather and no rain. On New Year's Day, 1977, we had 3 feet of snow. I was 15. I thought it was great ... Now. If there's any sign of snow, I won't even leave the house.😂🏴
Evenin FREEZIN. In June 😂😂😂😂 summers come but weather is all over the place shorts one day jeans the next 😂 is Andy the blind man with the dog? His music is fantastic till the next one 😊
Hope you did not catch a chill out there - you are right, the change in the weather is amazing. A friend of mine in America has 100 deg F plus temperatures, a possible hurricane to come, flooding and power outages all around her. I would keep our weather anyday! However - the shots of the Irish Sea in this film are magnificent! I wish I could stitch them together and play them on a loop. As it was there was not much daylight between the top of the sea and the understructure of the pier ... what then is it like when the tide is fully in?
Scottish schools finish tomorrow my Grandaughter finishes 23rd July for 6 weeks goes back first week in September the wind was very cold today prefer it to hot weather
Yes, it's the T1 that goes straight through. The ones that go via the station just mean the journey takes longer because they loop up to the station and back. It's still the same route
Holidays used to be better organised when I grew up in the 70s and 80s. Leicester had the July fortnight and then Nottingham had the following fortnight. This meant that seaside resorts had longer seasons and the trade was better spread out.
But that was because factories had a shut down week/fortnight. They don't today, they just carry on 52 weeks a year. The place I worked at when I left school had a shut down week - unheard of now!
I can't believe (well, actually I can 😂), that they've left the car park in such a mess. Imagine staying in the Holiday Inn & having all that debris as your view 🤦
