It's definitely a paradise. A campfire right by any water source is always a post-card moment. Those vibes are always soul-cleansing. I loved the waterfall, too.

If you are on Georgia Strait or anywhere on the NE side of the Island at this time of year, the sunsets are so spectacular as the sun swings though the NW I love that glow over the horizon that lasts long after sunset on clear nights.

This looks like a great camping spot. What beautiful views and neat that there was that little tire swing. Beautiful waterfalls. Also, neat that you can look around at the old logging buildings too.

Those ferns were very impressive but not as spectacular as that waterfall, wow! What a beautiful place and you had it all to yourselves. Interesting site to camp at. That stump looked like a checkerboard? Cool. The sunset segment looked very artistic and professional. Another excellent video. 👌👍

Eagle Eye🙂. That was a checkerboard👍. When we watched the final edit, Michelle said that she should have taken a close-up of it. Nature provides the best art 🙂. Thank you as always for following along, Michelle and Holger 🙏

I like the waterfall😁 Really nice place you were able to camp at! I wonder if that gets busy in the summer. Really beautiful sunset to welcome the evening with😀 Looks like a great camp!

Thank You! I wish I had flown up the drone at the Waterfall. We were at that spot last year in early June (when we had the fire close to home), but didn't stay because it was packed. So this was the perfect time to be there👍. The sunset was amazing and the camera is not doing it justice at all. Thank You for coming along🙂. All the best, Michelle and Holger 🙏

@@backroadjournals Try filming the sunset with your cellphone and see if that makes a difference. My Google Pixel 8 Pro does an excellent job of capturing sunsets.

Hey you two . My beautiful wife and I are new subscribers . Loving the channel . However we'd like to know where on the island it is that you're camping ? We spend alot of time outdoors , mostly on the island and Central/South Cariboo .
