Adam, do you have any videos that discuss comparisons with Panama, especially cost of living etc.?

is Costa Rica still considered a safe country? Many are talking these days about the increase of crime and home break-ins happening more than ever. Apparently very bad in Uvita area but many other areas as well. Just trying to understand the truth about this as it's a very hot topic and concerning to say the least. You may have addressed this current issue but if not it would be great if you could. Thanks!!

Hi Alandra! Cat here from episode 10. Costa Rica is the safest Central American country you can visit :-) The best way to get the inside scoop of what life is like living in CR is to talk to a local, like one of us here at Costa Rican Vacations! Many of my team members have families and have been raising kids here (some in Uvita and the capital specifically) for many years now and it's safe to say, they are living their best lives. (no pun intended haha). There is always going to be crime anywhere you go. Personally, I am from Houston and I feel safer walking down the streets of San Jose alone than I would in Houston any day or night! I don't know if that helps but if you want to chat more about it, feel free to reach out to me or any of us here at Costa Rican Vacations. :-)
