We present a concept for the transformation of palm oil monocultures into diversified, regenerative food forests. Instead of planting only one crop, which exhausts the soil and makes the use of synthetic fertilizers necessary, we combine 11 species, including cash crops such as vanilla and the Inca nut. These plants complement each other, thereby improving the soil year after year - this way, our plantation flourishes both ecologically and economically.

How long does it take from planting vanilla until all the other plants are planted? And how long till the first harvest of the various crops as each species has a different length of time to mature and to bear frit to harvest?
