I don't have a problem with your interviews❤ but when you feel like people is starting to get somewhat uncomfortable you need to let that go and stop trying to get to the root of it thinking you can fix the problem... You got to understand some people have problems with talking to people they don't know. But I just prayed it whatever she got going on it gets better for her
Marcus I think you do a good job sometimes with these interviews. But I agree to you not pushing so hard because again these interviews are over in 30 minutes or less and then they left to deal with the emotions you resurfaced.

This seems like Childhood Trauma that may have lead to “Vulnerable Narcissism” from a parent with either Narcissism Traits or Narcissistic Personality Disorder. If it’s Narcissism, it can be helped and it Will subside by at age of 40-42 for women and 40-45 for men. If the child and or Parent have Narcissistic Personality Disorder it will not go away and they cannot change.. I wish her the best because I can see the pain and hurt in her especially when her mom said that she was only concerned about her grand child🥺🥺🥺🥺
Marcus, you need to back off a bit. You can’t fix everyone. There may be underlying issues with this situation. You do not have the years required to obtain a degree to work with individuals and their issues. You don’t possess the knowledge on how to approach the varying situations as they apply to different individuals and their mental state. As she said, stop trying to be a therapist and know when to back off.
Not every situation is fixable! People really need to understand this. Sometimes people getting into the middle of family situations might just make things worse!

Sometimes we can’t force things to happen, we have to sit back and let God take the wheel, when the time is right, people will show signs of being ready to reunite without constant pressure, it will all flow in order, that’s how God operates. Granted his heart was in the right place, but stay focused. The young lady did Not ask you to build a bridge for her. Go beyond the interview only when asked by the interviewee.
You pressed your luck with this interview the young lady clearly stated let's take the kid off topic. And you were so persistent that it made her angry. Not fair to do this to people especially when they're not ready and wanting to change. Accept them for who and where they are it's their story to tell, without your input. And honestly this really could have been a good interview.

I think the line of questioning about loving her child is what bothered her the most. She seems like someone who really loves her child and wants to be there for her like any mother who loves their child dearly but unfortunate circumstances are preventing her from doing that. Your continues questioning about if she loves her daughter was a big trigger for her. That girl loves her child.

31:36 I don’t think you overstepped your boundaries as I see you were just trying to help, I think you don’t understand how Narcissism and Narcissistic Personality Disorder is Shamed Based and sometimes the things that are little to us are Major for someone who is affected by those traits and Personality Disorders. It’s really a different approach you have to take when dealing with individuals of Childhood Trauma.

The mother made it clear that Marcus was trying to "play counselor". Maybe PROFESSIONAL counseling should be looked into as an option, if not already. The mom sound to have so much built up anger in her in which she seem to not have addressed in its totality. It sounds as though its all directed towards her ex husband but indirectly projected out on her daughter. PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING should DEFINITELY be considered as an option

We ADOS have a high incidence of homeless,addiction ,incarceration etc it’s sad but this his the truth about the collective many of us fatherless homes, poverty, low income,abuse , mental health … most times I see someone homeless it’s black men or women statistically more than half of the homeless population is black men…we have no communities u don’t see Asian,African , West Indian white if they are 9/10 it’s drugs/mental health not matter where I go in the United States it’s homeless black men then women .,, majority of ADOS is poor because of policy and our choices it’s a shit show ..ADOS is sinking listen to Tone Talks on RU-vid and read books and u will see the issues
